Apart from the wonderful view and good choice of drinks, I was amazed by the service. I spilled my 18eur cocktail and they replaced it for free! This doesn't happen everywhere. Expensive yes, but worth it ;)

We visited the roof top bar. The view was amazing. A great way to end the day with a drink and an amazing view of the city and Gran Via

You catch the lift thinking you can drink a bier enjoying a nice Madrid's view but before take a look of the terrace you must pay a minimum consumption of six euros... Once you pay ang go in you realize that the view of madrid is just an angle. The heating in the terrace don't work in many seats. The... More

We went here for the views from the café but the building itself is an attraction in itself. Breathtaking spaces. The view from the café is fantastic but the service was totally the opposite. Though we did not mind waiting as the view was so absorbing.

There is weirdly, a cover charge at this bar, even at 3 in the afternoon. And, I must add, a minimum spend, although the drinks probably cost enough so everyone makes the minimum. BUT, the view was great, we expected it to be an expensive stop and the view was gorgeous.

Has good open cafe at the roof terrace with the live music on the weekends. Also restaurant is a few floors above. Restaurant is quite and cafe at the roof is more popular and visited.

There are a few rooftop bars in Madrid, this one was pretty good. Wine was of course pricier in this type of place but it's in an old post office from the 1800s so it has beautiful architecture and is right past the prado. Food was okay, I would recommend the croquettes but stay away from the chaceuterie

We went there last night a group of 18 people age 30-60 we are experienced traveler and very honest people. The service was very slow and bad, some people payed their drinks at the bar and when we where leaving, the staff made the rest responsible for some people that (apparently) did not pay theire bill and held us like... Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
