This is a chain restaurant that has couple branches in Madrid. I went to the one in Chueca in November 2009 and Ayala 14 last night, in June 2010. I first wanted to make a reservation at 20:30 by phone they didn't answer, so I went to there website and lucklyI could make a reservation from there. Then I received... More

We had very high expectations before going here, because of earlier experiences and recommendations. But we were met with over-attending service, almost nagging. The food was below mediocre. Pre-made dry spring rolls for starters with no flavor at all. Main course curry with rice. No salt in the rice! Tasted terrible.... Risotto was ok though but not worth it.

We researched the Wagaboo before we went to Madrid incase we were struggling to find somewhere to eat and where chuffed we did. was by far the best meal we had and by far the best value, loved the tag line "fun eating" & was close to where we stayed Oscar. The staff were helpful with us, as our Spanish... More

This is cute little chain. We ate at the General Martinez Campos 26 location twice. The negatives are only one person speaks english, the menu is in spanish and the servers seem to intimidated at the prospect of trying to speak english so they can come across as ignoring you. I think the truth is two fold...One being they don't... More

It is very diificult for me to say whether this restauarnt was good, bad or something in between, the reason i say this is because after we were shown to a table, handed a menu and then we were completely ignored, after 20 minutes we decided to leave and go elsewhere. Good luck to anyone who visits this unfriendly place.

Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
