Everything we order was amazing! The duck confit wraps was one of the best dishes I've had in my life, I had to order another serve! The soft shell crab buns and tuna sashimi (special) were also exceptional! Service was great and restaurant was high class. The menu was a bit more expensive than expected but so worth it after... We passed by several times until we finally decided to stop and check it out. The best decision in this trip. It is the best place for pinxos on Madrid and after it any other place will be bad... Try anything in the menu you will not be disappointed. A must go on Madrid

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. We had a couple questions as we were ordering and our server gave us a mini lesson on pinxtos and how to order them. We greatly appreciated the help, and of course the food was amazing!

We've been meaning to visit Juana La Loca for a while as it has been regularly recommended by some friends. Perhaps because it is slightly inconvenient for us to get to we have put it off. But having eaten there recently we regret that we did not go earlier. The restaurant/bar is nicely decorated, waiters and waitresses smart and efficient,... More

I love it. I come here for 10 years whenever I am in Madrid and my wife approves. Awesome tapas, great service and super atmosphere. You can't ask for more.

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Juana La Loca! Everything we ordered was delicious. The food is a more modern and interesting interpretation of traditional Spanish cuisine. The staff was very friendly and everyone spoke English. I highly recommend!

My second visit and absolutely love the place! The pintxo de solomillo is to die for and the Spanish tortilla is excellent. Everything we had was amazing, especially the dulce de leche dessert! No coffee on weekends and you better reserve!

The welcome and service was fantastic. They found us a table in an already busy bar, quite late on a weekend night. Our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and was able to suggest we changed some of our orders to better items. We were glad for the suggestions, as the items were not on the menu and were delicious, and... More

Staying in La Latina

Neighbourhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighbourhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
