Great little trattoria, located behind the Prado museum in a quite street with charming tables on the sidewalk. The food we had was delicious, from starters to the main course.

Being a vegetarian, you have less options. But this restaurant was ready to take suggestions and made it the way we like it. Scrumptious food.

Very good menu with numerous delicious choices. Wonderful staff. Nice wine list. You can eat inside or out. We have eaten here on previous trips and would certainly do so again.

We arrived at the restaurant with hunger for some good, Italian food. The decor seemed carefully thought out so we assumed the menu would have gotten the same treatment. When I asked the waitress whether the Burrata comes with any extras she said just tomatoes...More

Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard

Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and
culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On
weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free
after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue
of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de

SANTARCANGELO offers dishes from different regions of their own Italian cuisine. In his letter we find antipasti, such as Carpaccio, the Provola or some of their salads, as Capresse or Prosciutto and Grana D'Anatra Pere (Kaiser pear salad, duck ham and shavings of Grana cheese on arugula baby) ; to continue their wide selection of pasta, rice, meat or pizzas. As a final touch, we can conclude with simply irresistible desserts. In addition to the menu items prepared by the Chef, we find three dishes created exclusively by renowned chef Andres Madrigal, which reinterprets Italian cuisine with a twist : gnoqui the cabbage, potato egg with bacon and tiramisu strawberry compote. And the kitchen Madrigal (awarded two Michelin stars for his work in El Olivo (2001) and Alboroque (2009) and Soul Bistro Madrigal) is characterized by complement fluently ingredients from many different sources, formalized in a trend towards minimalism. His training in the office of the stove was essentially practical, after visiting prestigious restaurants like El Still, Oter Epicure, Prince and Serrano or La Alborada. He has also learned from great masters of the kitchen as Alain Ducasse, Martin Berasategui and Roger Verge. Among its range of Italian specialties, new delicacies include mini price in the afternoon. Prices range from € 4.90 To € 7.90 Costrini and for some of the house specialties (such as vitello Tonatto broncocini or mozzarella) to € 6.50 Of the pizzette.
