This was recommended to us by friends from Madrid. Perhaps it just wasn't something we were used to; but we did not find the meal to be very enjoyable. The croquette to start the meal was quite good, and the soup decent; however, the main...More

Once again a great cocido last week, this is a place for cocido and nothing else, if you do not plan on having this complete meal, don't bother. This is not a fancy restaurant nor is the service refined but it is efficient and the...More

I was in Madrid for work and I came across this restaurant where I had lunch with the thypical Madrid's "cocido" (check the photo). It's not - in my humble opinion - recommendable for work-days lunch because it's not what we would call a light...More

This is a classic in Madrid. However in my last visit we we highly dissapointed. The cocido was not so good and the cook wasn't flexible enough to prepare somerhing different than cocido (not even an omelette) for one of us who couldn't eat the...More

Great place to enjoy the classic Madrid "cocido." An assortment of fine broth, garbanzo peas, meats (blood sausage, chorizo, bone marrow, beef and pork products), onions and other veggies. Great service and good prices. Make a reservation for sure!

Description
A VERY YOUNG CLASSIC COOKED. In 1997 he founded the iconic Salamanca district of Madrid a Tavern Madrilena with a twist: offers lunches, throughout the year, such as menu and unique dish, the authentic Cooked Madrid. Served in three rollovers, in free bar, homemade desserts really and truly balanced wine list make Casa Carola is established as a very young classic in Madrid dining scene. The service is friendly and very nice family atmosphere. Prebooked because, due to their small size, capacity is completed with ease. Casa Carola is an essential reminder of the kitchen (and the Cooked Madrid) that was cooked at home at the time of pot.
