I asked for a simple grilled fish and they let me choose one and showed me the fish before cooking it, got a rockfish, was plain and tasty! Then got a Thai salad with mango and avocado, bits of chilly pepper not spicy, good portion, the wine was excellent as well. Top of my day, thanks.

We had lunch at this restaurant last week for the first time. We were very impressed with the facilities and we sat at a good size table on the terrace. We were with two other friends (Spanish) and we all selected the Menu del Dia. The price was a little more than the average for a Menu del Dia but... More

Best meal of the holiday. Started with a share of a tartar of red Tuna and an Artichoke salad, both excellent. Followed by Arroz dish with fresh fish and shellfish. Shared a couple of bottles of 1583 Alarino de Feinanes which at 19 Euros was great value. Excellent service helped make a great night.

We found this a friendly place to eat with very good food and wine. We enjoyed a wonderful artichoke and potato starter as well as a spectacular tuna tartar. Our main course of seafood paella was rich and tasty, the apple and almond pie that followed was great. We ate here on a busy Friday night but despite the numbers staff... More

The daily menu is better than anywhere. More then anywhere else but value for 18,- a person is worth it, take the Juan Gill wine from Jumilla 12,- and enjoy. Finaly a restaurant that understand what tourists wants, not to cheap but quality

This month, there is a wonderful activity in Cartagena for tapas lovers. Almost every restaurant and tapas bar offer for 2,5€ a drink with a tapa especially made for this ocasion. I have always enjoyed D'Almansa's offer. This year they have really improved the service with some estra waiters since this restaurant is always crowded. A crispy bread with meat... More

In the eve of the Spanish National holiday our chosen restaurant was full. Yet, very graciously they recommended Almansa a block away. The very sound stirs all kind of interests for a History buff. In 1707, in the town of that name, the Bristish-Portuguese-Dutch coalition was routed by a French-Spanish army in a battle that Frederik II (Prussia) pronounced as... More

We went last Saturday with a group of 4. Two of them ordered the steak which was mentionned on the menu 19€ (500gr). When the bill came we were charged 29€. We asked if this was a mistake, but were told (rather unfriendly) that the steak was 800gr and therefore 10€ more expensive than on the menu. We said they... More
