Chat up with Vincent the Aussie who came to Spain, fell in love and got married and made this country his home. He explained to us the difference between tapas and pintxos. We had sardines in toast that wee amazingly fresh and tasty. They have made to order and pre made pintxos. Made to order was best but both were... More

So good pintxos in here! It is just off Estafeta street and it isn't as expensive as the restaurants in that street. Every year I repeat the same place; Gaucho!

This is supposed to be one of the best "pinchos" (tapas) bar in Pamplona and it is surprising the wide variety of different creations they have. We enjoyed the experience a lot and tasted some excellent food!

In the heart of the old town, Bar Gaucho offers tapas that is a little different to that which is on offer in the other bars. Very popular with the locals, it can get very crowded so finding a seat can be tricky. If you do manage to, sit back and enjoy the entertainment watching a really professional team at... More

My favorite tapas was the Foie. Most of these are premade and re-heated. The Foie is made upon order. We had 5 pintxos and 2 wines and 2 waters and the total was 22 euros. Great price. Bar keep spoke a little English

I have gone around Pamplona for pintxos a year now and Gaucho is the one we always go back to. Never a pintxo which is boring and all are really well made. Naturally, you must try their foie - if you want a better one you will have to go to Sanse and even there you must get lucky. Service... More

Based on other reviews my partner and I felt we had to try this place on a recent visit to Pamplona. We also tried a few other tapas bars close by and in my opinion, this outstripped the competition, by quite a margin. Pleasant service, in a very busy bar, with good freshly prepared food. Definitely worth a visit, if... More

This place is super crowded and the hard part is finding a place to sit. I was here with two friends and it took us awhile, but it was so worth it! The tapas are varied and delicious! Highly recommend this place but be prepared to wait.
