Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely tri-level white linen casual/dressy space. Excellent paella, vino, dessert. Service was very friendly and professional. They know how to take care of business. Five star all the way!

The place is absolutely overvalued in the reviews. We ordered a paella for 3 people and the portions were super small. We asked for the paella with Shrimps but there were none so the order was wrong. Moreover we waited 40 minutes and not even...a slice of bread inbetween. We also ordered a tartare but the waiter forgot it and brought it only 1hr after the order. VERY TOURISTIC NOT RECCOMENDEDMore

An excellent lunch in a pleasant restaurant specialising in paella. Good and friendly service from Jose. We were advised that it would take 30 minutes to prepare the paella which it did.

Service was good and I was able to get a Paella Valenciana even though I was eating alone. The Paella was good, but there are better options. This one was a bit salty and the restaurant is a little overpriced. The restaurant itself is very...nice inside.More

It took 20 minutes to place order for Paella for 2.Was told it took 16 minutes, 45 minutes later it arrived. Not worth waiting for. Dry with a chicken leg with no meat on, looked like leftover.Staff don't care. Had Paella from a stall the...day before, it was deliciousMore

The food is overpriced and way too salty. The interior is bland. The service was nice. There is confusion between the restaurant and the taverna, even though they do share the same kitchen. Not going there again…

My twin brother Stephen and I were exploring around the wonderful El Carmen District ,with temperatures hitting the mid 90's we decided to drop by Restaurante Canela as we walked through Plaza De Santa Ursula. A great looking restaurant ,interior is traditional,an eye catching serving...bar ,great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out into the beautiful Plaza De Santa Ursula. We sat outside were we ordered and were served bottles of a Estrella Galicia beer ,these were served iced cold and sparkling ,we chilled out and took in the great views of Esglesia Santa Ursula and Torres De Quart while sipping our beers. A big fan of this beer ,it's such a light and hoppy beer bursting with taste ,perfect for the hot climate out here ,it was just so good being in such a great location sat outside a fantastic restaurant enjoying a freezing cold beer sat with my twinny Ste ,best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers sat outside here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. Restaurante Canela is easy to locate along Calle Quart just off Plaza Santa Ursula. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.More

This restaurant situated on carre de Quart in Valencia had terrible etiquette. I can’t actually comment on the food. It’s probably good but they did not let us wait for a table. There was a local family of 4 ahead of us who were told...to come back in 45min. The waiter then just shrugged her shoulders saying there are no more tables for anyone as they close in 30min, as I tried to ask to book for later that evening, she just walked away.More

Good place for paella and other Valencian food. Service was friendly but a little chaotic. Food was good except for one starter with was hand-cut ham on potato crisps from a bag, very strange combination.
