Nice restaurant close to Westin hotel and Valencia stadium. Professional service and outstanding traditional Castillian lamb. Best lamb in Valencia. I also strongly recomend as starter iberican ham croquettes and blood saussages.

We visited Valencia for leisure and yes, it is absolutely a wonderful and relaxing city. Nice temperature and also very nice people. However, on Monday evenings many restaurants are closed; we found out the hard way. Luckily, restaurant Belmonde was open and provided us a very good and well priced Bacalao Blancha and for desert Horchato icecream. However, the table... More

having stayed at The Westin just across the road, several times now, yet this was the first time I have eaten here. Situated in the upmarket and increasingly popular residential area of Exposition, this was an outstanding culinary experience; made all the more so because of the fantastic Patron Toni. Certainly the only place I have been where the bottle of... More

Recommended by a foodie friend, we had a delicious dinner on a Friday evening. Sharing tapas to start, the three of us enjoyed a wonderfully-cooked, tender shoulder of young lamb which could have fed four less-hungry people! The staff and charismatic host generate a welcoming atmosphere, the food was excellent and we intend to return soon, as will our friend.

This restaurant is very close to the Westin hotel where we were staying for the weekend. The staff speak limited English (why should they – its Spain). They do a house special, which consists of three tapas type starters and a whole shoulder of roast lamb served with fried potatoes and a salad plus a dessert for 35 euros including... More

We came here after reading the numerous rave reviews, and we were not disappointed. Very conveniently situated for guests at the Westin Hotel (turn left out of the hotel front-door), the restaurant has a pleasant ambience, with linen table-cloths and napkins; we were unable to try the lamb house-speciality, but the cod was very tasty; the Valencian wine was good... We walked into this restaurant looking forward to a great meal with welcoming staff, unfortunately when we walked through the door we thought the only member of staff who was there looked and treated us like we were an inconvenience. We were sat at a table in a corner and it smelt like we'd been sat next to the the... More

Dear Mr Paul, Thank you for your opinion. Thanks to your messages every day we try to be better. I am sorry about that happened to you during your visit to our restaurant. The truth is that the whole team that work here are in a little sock state. We work hard to make the things right but sometimes not... More

Another small restaurant a little out of the way if you don't know about it. We went based on trip advisor reviews and the mention of baby lamb being the house special. To start we had calamari and croquettes which were both excellent. The true star of the meal though was the baby lamb, roasted and served simply on the... More

We also, guests at the Westin, and after a long week at a trade convention and conference, found this unexpected, hyper local jewell. Located in the back street of the Westin Complex, Belmonte is a 3 minute walk across the street. With the rewards in service and food that await it seems just too little an effort. After climbing in... More
