The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the seating is a little different. you choose your own tapas from the bar, there is a good selection and are all tasty and reasonably priced 2.1 euro each. We found the evening dinner expensive for what... More

What can I say? Tuesday night we dined downstairs in the middle of the roman ruins and it was a stunning experience. Food is great, spanish-style, and service is superb. A must in Valencia! EXCELENTE!

TripAdvisor asks when I mark 'excellent', "Is this the best restaurant meal you have ever had?" Not even close! These internet metrics can give ambiguous advice to travelers. I rate Orio as excellent because in that moment of our special trip, where the goal is to discover special places, we felt things were 'special'. As for the meal, it was... More

Great option for a dinner, even if a bit pricier. The food is great and I love the sistem where you get whatever you want at any time and pay at the end based on the number of the toothpicks you collected (one piece = one toothpick). And not only you have the cold ones at the bar, but waitresses... More

We had our first Valencia New Years Eve visit and Orios restaurant/ tapas was recommended by our hotel. The service, food, drink & atmosphere was perfect then off to the square for the fireworks and bells to see 2017 in. Perfectos!!

Good food. Head waiter spoke English. Nice ambience with some high chairs for adults that might not be the most comfortable chairs though.

Description
ORIO is characterized by a new conceptualization of the Basque tavern, based on an overflowing pintxos counter, along with a short, but varied, menu inspired by the fishing villages in the Basque country. Located in the historic city center, in the heart main artery between the Cathedral, City Hall and the Central Market.
