Just near the central squares, a bar with beers and enough TV screens for any sport-buff to get drunk. Staff speaks English (surely enough to order your beer); take some cheese with it.

I have always said that Guinness is my desert island beer. But it has to be stored and served just right. I am often disappointed and has been a long time since I have Guinness of such quality as was served here. There was also free popcorn. The music was enthusiastic. The ambiance was low-key rather than smart.

We nipped in for a quick drink and were treated as if we were second class citizens. The barman slammed our change onto the counter and didn't make any attempt at smiling, nevermind making conversation. We genuinely have no idea how this place has such great reviews. We are guessing the guy who served us was either new, or took... More

I'm giving this place top marks purely because of the service. The beer is at a decent price and they have a decent selection of craft beers & ales! Excellent English is spoken & sports are always on the TV, and with fast wifi & good food thrown in as well you can't go wrong. I'll stop by again for... More

We watched the England/Wales match here for Euro 2016. The atmosphere was superb, really good fun, and the beer kept flowing. Great afternoon.

We used this bar mainly as a meeting point but invariably stayed for several hours. Foodwise it does snacks and is not really somewhere I would choose to eat. Where it came to the fore was the way they treated us (a large party of "mature" males).Finding football that was not advertised was not trouble, repairing the big screen for... More

Good beer variation with a limited snack menú. Don't expect to get a full meal. Various TV's so you can catch a soccer match when one is showing

My husband found this pub to watch the football and as per the title, its a bit rough and ready but very busy. Very much a mans pub.
