Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent friendly service. Atmospheric restaurant/bar. Good explanation and advice from the owner on menu options. Food choices interesting, local and good for meat and fish eaters alike. Excellent cookery by chef who understands and utilises modern techniques to produce traditional regional dishes. Galician style octopus,...cod and chickpea, local red tuna, all outstanding. Highly recommendMore

Came at 20.30 and were a little concerned but 1 hour later it was full. Gave us a chance to chat to the owner, an ex doctor with excellent English and president of the local rugby association. We ate what he told us to order....It was all great , as was the orange digestif. Well worth a visitMore

Must visit while on Valencia, not located in the city centre but totally worth the walk. Super fresh seafood and the most amazing service - the owner suggests the best of the day and is so warm and welcoming. Make sure you eat here at...least once if you visit.More

If you’re looking for the best food in Valencia, look no further! We came back twice on our 5-day trip because we just couldn’t get enough. Even though it’s slightly out of the main touristy areas, it’s well worth going to. The seafood is especially...delicious, and don’t forget to try the apple cake - we highly recommend it! To top it off, all the staff, especially the owner, are so lovely and super helpful when ordering. Don’t miss out on this gem of a restaurant!More

Very nice local place with outstanding fresh Valencian food. Neigborhood vibe and all muy amabile. A bit more expensive than the typical corner bar but worth it, and still half the price of California or the East Coast

Our second visit to El Pederniz, this time with our son and his girlfriend and the experience was again fantastic. The owner Fuad looked after us with excellent food and wine recommendations and the cooking is sublime, we will return! The garlic chilli prawns, the...baby squid, quail / partridge, red tuna with teriyaki sauce were equally delicious but the winner was probably the award-winning Valencian manchego cheese flan with caramel sauce, a must try. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible ladies toilet.More
