Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Firstly, there is a free shuttle boat every 20 odd minutes or so from Amalfi town port. That was the first bit of uncertainty faced as a non Italian speaker , looking to book it. We went ahead to book on their website , and...whatsapped them when we arrived at Amalfi port. Easy pickup and we were at the beach club. Booked front row deck chairs, decent food, met some new friends and all in all, a great afternoon! Free return trip in the same boat around 445pm (they start running return trips from 430pm onwards) to Amalfi pier. Best way to spend a day at the beach! For those used to fine sandy beaches in Asia, bring reef shoes! The beach here is rocky, not sandy! We had a fine foot therapy session for hours, which I guess improved our blood circulation! Definitely still recommend to try, was the best private beach experienceMore

Every Amalfi summer has been made more special by Lido degli Artisti. The setting, with the crystal clear, blue Med on 1 side and the cliffs of Amalfi on the other, is something you can never forget. The cuisine is fresh, local, and amazing. It...really doesn’t get any better. Well, perhaps. The kindness and smiles of the staff are as warm as the Amalfi sun.More

The food was good/okay. Loved the dj with sax! BUT we felt scammed since we ordered a small "local beer" which was not very cold and surprised us in the bill with 14€.

We came to this place with my friend for a lunch. We reserved a table. We were waiting for a half an hour for our reservation. The guy from the restaurant asked us to take a table. After waiting for a menu during 10 minutes...we asked a waiter to bring it to us. Then he told us that we have to put on a shirt. We were in pareo. When we told that we don’t have a shirt the guy who asked us to take a table told us that we have to leave. The situation was terrible. We spent 40 minutes for waiting when we can order anything to eat and we were asked to leave the place. I totally don’t recommend to visit this place and spent your time here. They don’t respect you and your time. Disgusting people and a terrible placeMore

Cool Vibe-Amazing Food! We could have spent the day here! We stopped here for lunch and a little swimming during our Amalfi boat tour day with Positano Boat Charters (see review). This was one of the best meals we had during our trip. My husband...ordered the special- "Tagliono" which was a kind of cacio e pepe and seafood. It was so good, we ended up ordering an extra one for the table. They kindly accommodated our picky kids with spaghetti pomodoro, which was also incredibly good and flavorful! We traveled with four kids, so the signs of a great restaurant was empty plates and this gem fit the bill! I would recommend contacting them in advance for a reservation as I had a hard time getting ahold of them last minute so our boat crew made the call for us!More

Amazing beach and bar to chill for a day, almost a private beach, with a super friendly staff. Food and drinks were amazing, plus you get an included boat ride from Amalfi to beach club. I highly recommend arriving early to spend the hole day...:)More

We ate here four times during our stay as this is one of the two restaurants accessible to the beach. Menu is limited to around 10 different options, and 3 or 4 dishes that are specials. relatively expensive for the portion sizes but to be...expected given the location. Service was fast and the waiters that served us were friendly. one complaint would be the front of desk waitress, who wore two French plaits but i cannot remember her name. She was incredibly rude (as we did not reserve a table) and honestly, put us off returning to the restaurant on the final day because we preferred to feel welcome elsewhere. she did not encourage us to book, simply turning us away instead with no options of booking a later spot (and all the tables being empty!!!).More

Great experience with Luca, Silvio and all the staff. Relaxing day at the seaside and amazing experience with the quality of food at lunch, absolutely special. I’d like to mention in particular the fried fish which is great to start the lunch with, and exquisite...grilled squid with eggplants (ridiculously good!). Very good service during lunch. In the afternoon the atmosphere is even more relaxing, and it is special to drink something on the beach, with the staff that is speedy in bringing your orders directly on the beach. Very recommended!!! There’s need for booking some days in advance but it’s really worth it!More

All we ordered was extremely fresh and delicious plates. We ate here for lunch after a kayak tour. The view and breeze from the restaurant is wonderful therefore we recommend this restaurant. That particular day the service was quite slow: it took us 2 hours...and a half for 2 starters and 2 first dishes. I hear a lot of good reviews of this place therefore I assume it was just a bad day, which can happen to everyone. We were not able to get a free boat back to Amalfi after eating here, even if explicitly mentioned on the website. The staff told us that it's just for clients that rent an umbrella and chairs on the beach, therefore not just for eating at the restaurant. I would love to go back and have a second opinion because food and atmosphere was great.More

We went to this place after our Amalfi Kayak tour and it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. The staff was very attentive to my husband's diabetic needs and the food was remarkably fresh. The manager apologized for not having the...credit card reader readily available, but it is tough to get mail to that area sometimes. The seafood was unbelievably fresh and the dessert was so good. The new owner, (Lucius) was so amazing to us and treated us like royalty. We cannot say enough good things about this place!More

I wish I planned another lunch here! We spent the day at this quiet private beach. You do have to take about 400 or more steps to get down here or pay to take a boat shuttle from the main Amalfi town area. The owners...who are brothers have wonderful, welcoming personalities. We rented a couple of umbrellas and beach chairs which they set up. You can have drinks served to you on the beach. All the meals we ordered were unbelievable. The staff was attentive and very kind. You felt like you were at home. The restaurant is an open deck with plenty of shade. The view is spectacular since you are right on the beach. If you spend the day there like we did swimming, dinning and drinking wine, be prepared for the climb of stairs back up. You will enjoy the beautiful view as I did with every rest break I took on each bench they provided on the way up!!More
