Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic evening at this superb restaurant. The quality of service and food was first class and well worth the taxi from Amalfi. We had ravioli with seafood and lasagne as first courses followed by beef entrecôte. All was amazing. The wine to accompany these was...superb. To finish I had the tiramisu- wow!! Chef Serena and her husband Albino are lovely and their restaurant is a delight. Will return in the future to see the fantastic views.More

This spot is magical! Enjoying authentic, homemade Italian food while absorbing the beautiful, romantic views of the Amalfi Coast. The Pastas were the best we had on our 20 days travel thru Italy.

Baglio in Amalfi was excellent! It was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in the area and it did not disappoint. Phenomenal food and the view was incredible. Recommend reservations as this is a small, family owned restaurant. Our group had the...fish of the day and the lasagna - 5 stars for both! If you are in the area, make a reservation and enjoy one of the best meals in Amalfi.More

I was always told to save the best for last. Great Advice and my family and I did just that. Dinner at Baglio Amlfi Italian Bistro Cucina lives up to its reputation. Quiet, great atmosphere, beautiful views, great service and the food was the best...meal we have had on the Amalfi coast. We had the Caprese di Burrata with tomatoes and it was nothing short of fantastic. We also loved the eggplant cubes on tomato puree. The special tonight was lasagna and I can not remember enjoying lasagna more than this. It was simply delicious. We had the fresh caught fish with lemon and sage. We also had another dish but no one can remember what it was. Dessert included molten chocolate cake, tiramisu and lemon sponge cake. We highly recommend every visitor have at least one meal here.More

A wonderful restaurant situated about a five minute drive from Amalfi. The restaurant is located on the side of the cliff with stunning sea views. There are only around 10 tables in the restaurant which gives it that nice intimate feel. The menu is based...solely on fresh local ingredients and it has something for everyone. I started with mussels which were cook perfectly, and the broth full of flavour. The pasta was superb - as it should be in Italy and the Lobster with tagliatelle was devine. Neither of us could not fault our meal. The wine list is extensive with a focus on local wines. The service by the owner was impeccable. If you want to talk or ask for recommendations he is happy to chat or assist in any way he can. Our taxi was booked for 10.30 pm later than the restaurant would normally be open. The owner was more than happy to stay open until our taxi arrived to collect us, and the complimentary Lemoncello’s were very much appreciated. A perfect evening and we would definitely return when we are next in Amalfi. Thank you.More

My wife and I dined here while staying in Amalfi. Short cab ride to get there. Beuatiful view, even at night, from a partially enclosed terrace. Small restaurant run by wife and husband. Food was superb, service was good despite the fact that the husband...was the lone server for approximately six 2-person tables. My wife had the homemade lemon and ricotta ravioli created by the chef (wife part of the owner team) that was offered as a special the night we visited. My wife being a light eater didn't finish all of her meal and I had the good fortune of eating her leftovers. Amazing! My entree was the homemade pasta filled with broccoli raab and cheese provolone with Clams, garlic and parsley. Also magnificent. Can't go wrong at this restaurant!More

Operated by a husband (who serves the tables) and wife (who does the cooking), this is an outstanding restaurant by any standards. Great food, incredible views and definitely one to visit. We went twice in the week we were there.

Fantastic food, fantastic views and warm and charming host. We began with a octopus starter. You may never eat anything better. My mouth still waters. Then ravioli followed by a seafood medley. Yum, yum. All these were made by Serena. For dessert we went out...on a limb and had the only dish made by Albino, Serena’s husband, who provides all the service. Twice as good as any tiramisu I have ever had. I am 78. This is the first resturant review I have ever written. The creators of this place deserve it.More

Baglio has a stunning location with a cliff edge terrace, about a 5 minute drive from Amalfi town. There are only 6/7 tables, all railside, in a restaurant which is stunningly modern. It is run by a husband and wife couple, Albino and Serena and...the service is excellent and friendly. We both had the tuna tartare as a starter and catch of the day which was outstandingly cooked. The wine list is interesting with several local options as well. Would thoroughly recommend, you need to book and pay a no-pitch refundable deposit.More

After reading the amazing reviews and at the end of a long day’s travel, we decided to book a light dinner for our first night in Conca dei Marini. The descriptions of the dishes looked amazing so we ordered two pasta dishes and local wine...with great expectations of an enjoyable experience. What a disappointment!!! We found both dishes to be both uninspiring and very bland, the local wine being the only highlight of the evening. The pasta was certainly not fresh being hard and dry in texture, resembling something that had been over microwaved. Eager to salvage the evening, we ordered dessert only to experience the same disappointment. Location and decor are first class but this does not justify the overpriced menu. In conclusion, maybe it was a case of some of the reviewers suffering ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ syndrome or maybe the chef forgot to add the flavours!! A real ‘rip-off’!!More

We ate here twice in the same week during our Amalfi vacation. The food and service was superb and the view of the sea can't be beat. Well worth the time for a quiet evening meal.

Really lovely intimate restaurant with an amazing view of the sea and Amalfi coastline. An €80 deposit is required upon booking (they don’t sit many tables – very intimate feel about the place which is fantastic – so I can understand the risk of people...booking and not showing up as this would really impact their bottom line). The food was phenomenal. The wine was phenomenal. Would eat here again in a heartbeat!More
