Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tucked away down a side street, a small deli inside very popular with locals and italians, we were the only tourists in the queue or outside. Huge sandwiches made fresh with high quality ingredients. Expensive for a sandwich compared to Naples but you are in...Amalfi! 9 Euro for a ciabatta.More

If you are in Amalfi La Bottega del Ferrari is an absolute must for lunch. The food is fresh and very flavourful. The portions are perfect for travellers who’ve spent a Morning in the sun navigating the beautiful Amalfi Coast. It’s a Family run shop...that offers the highest level of care and service - we felt like part of the Family! Value is great compared to most anything else in the area. Overall a great experience with every visit. We will keep coming back to La Bottega Del Ferrari.More

What a god damn sandwich.. not only was the sandwich amazing, but the service and location exceeded all expectations.. freshest of ingredients to choose from, on bread straight out of the oven.. Best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life!

The food is absolutely perfection. You can order paninis with several different ingredients. Ingredients are perfect, the paninis are very delicious and not pricey (8 €). You can also drink some fresh juice. Owners are lovely, they’re very friendly. Definitely recommend!

The panini here made with love, and high quality deli products. La Patriota was my favorite. We came twice during our 3-day stay. If you want to dine well in Amalfi without busting your wallet, this is a good choice.

Beautiful family that loves showing hospitality! Sandwiches were delicious and they even had gluten free bread! The owner of Donna Stella met us there so that tells you this is a MUST VISIT!

We have tasted twice several panini with locally produced ham, cheese and sauces. These were the best ever panini from Italy. Great and subtle taste of blue cheese in the panini called Il Gladiatore, very nice and smoked ham in Amarcord and amazing Quinta Potere....It is worth trying and it's great value for money. While there you should try the very good bomboni artigianalli (local candies).More

This is actually a gourmet food store, selling high quality local products (cheeses, meats, olives etc.). However, they make paninis to order, and have limited seating as well. We ate a grilled vegetarian panini (its a large size!), with fantastic bread and loaded with the...freshest and most flavorsome of ingredients. Friendly, attentive service.More

Amazing sandwich. Best bread we’ve had in Italy. We were looking for something vegan and got a grilled vegetable panini. Was delicious!

Stopped by here on the way out of Amalfi to get a sandwich since we didn’t want a long sit down meal for lunch. It is an authentic Italian market - something rarely found in the USA - that seems to be family operated. I...originally wanted a “personalized” sandwich- chicken cutlet, mozzarella and roasted red pepper sandwich but they didn’t have cutlets- so I asked the lady to pick a meat she felt would be good. She picked Parma ham and it was fabulous. My husband got the Patriota and he said his was delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted /crisp. Would definitely recommend!More

Best panini I ate in all Italy. Fresh and delicious. The store is very nice and it is possible to buy gourmet ingredients and also eat outside. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!

It's hard to say why we went directly after parking Walking around amalfi we just came across la bottega del ferrari and after some paninis during our trip, this was exactly what we were looking for before going back to lying by the sea. The...aesthetics are exactly that of a traditional food shop with first quality local ingredients. Luisa was extremely kind helping us chose and even make combinations that were not in the menu (my gf is a vegetarian). And yes, of course, the paninis were spectacular. I would have gone back to repeat but just staying for 1 day in amalfi... Besides, the beer was cheaper than in other similar places where we had eaten before. Go there for me, please.More

We went here a few times for lunch to bring the sandwiches back to the beach. All sandwiches are incredibly delicious, with a lot of toppings and very affordable at €6 each. The bread rolls are huge as it’s they’re basically the size of half...a loaf. Overall great affordable lunch with non-standard sandwich toppingsMore

Spending a few hours in Amalfi, we decided to head away from the crowds. So glad we did, we found this wonderful deli. We asked for a selection of cold meats, cheeses and breads. We were served a taste sensation. 4 different local cheeses, 4...different meats, tomatoes in olive oil, and a basket of baked breads. Washed down with local beers. Everything was amazing, even the price. Well worth the 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Bellissimo.More
