Donna Margherita is my favorite lunch and dining spot in Salerno. It offers a wide range of local dishes spanning from traditional pizza (Concettina is amazingly tasty) to typical "primi piatti" (such as spaghetti ai frutti di mare with mussels and sea food). It has a very nice dehor for both summer and winter season. Waiters are friendly and despite... More

We had a good dinner at the patio area that is well surrounded by plants and it's a bit far from the other restaurants on that main street. Basically we shared a Pizza and a Salad, the portions are big enough and tasty. A funny fact is their Logo, it looks a bit like a chain restaurant.

Open for lunch without frills, this eatery has indoor and al fresco dining options with meal of the day at a reasonable price. My gnocchi was a bit gluggy in a creamy fishy sauce and the stuffed squid was a bit tough and overcooked. That said, the portions were generous, service efficient and toilets clean...

We selected this restaurant because of the "slow food" sign outside it. We had our meal in the veranda as it was a lovely sunny day. As starter we order a delicious burrata, which came with honey and walnuts. The taste was simply good!! Then we had special pizza, part of the slow food and it was good, with fresh... More

The reason I chose this restaurant for dinner was the offer of slow food dishes, which interested me and which I could see on the menu-card displayed outside. They have an interior room and a room in front behind glass, under a tented roof and with a big heater. In both rooms one is entertained by TV-programs on big screens... More

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch including genuine margherita pizza, pasta, and Peroni! Our waitress had a good sense of humor, and she spoke pretty good English. Way better then our Italian! There were local buisness people there enjoying a little vino with their lunch . . . at least that is what it looked like. Great lunch and very fun!

Location is good, but pizza was very average. I would not reccomend it to anyone unless you are tired and want something in the city centre maybe...

Donna Margherita is a restaurant located in the heart of the ancient Salerno, in front of the "Villa Comunale" park and a few steps from the "Garden of Minerva". The Pizzeria is famous for its ancient wood-burning oven and the meticolous search of the typical products that together with a leavening of 24 hours create a real PIZZA OF EXCELLENCE. The restaurant also serves the traditional receipts of the Salerno's cuisine made with farm-to-table ingredients and the menu presents a variety of meat and fish specialties.
