We couldn't have asked for a better evening, Tony and his staff were fabulous and looked after us well. The setting is perfect and the food was great.

Ciao Neil, Thank you for your kinds words , we really appreciate that you had a lovely time with all of us. Thanks you to choose us . Have a great time, We look for to accommodate you again . Tony & Don Pedro Family
Italy is the destination of choice for my wife and I. We were staying in Marina Piccola at the water's edge in Sorrento. Our first night, we experienced one of those downpours that are typical along the Bay of Naples, and we didn't feel like...making the trek up the bluff to downtown. Don Pedro's was literally a few steps from our door, so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely the best we ate in Sorrento. You need to be aware that many restaurants there are "food factories" which serve mediocre food at inflated prices to the legions of tourists who don't know any better. Don Pedro's was an exception. My favorite meal there was grilled calamari and prawns on the first night. The second night my wife and I both had the lobster, which was priced very reasonably. I also enjoyed their fish "pie" (shellfish wrapped in a fillet). My wife had the best steak she had ever eaten and on another occasion a crab dinner. All were fresh, delicious, well prepared, and nicely presented. Prices were reasonable, given that it's Sorrento. Service was very attentive, polite, and extremely personal. This is outstanding for restaurants in the Amalfi region, where service tends to be surly, impersonal, and often openly rude. We were "teamed" by two young men and a young woman. Rafaele and Teresa in particular provided service which was attentive without hovering and did it with a smile. On our last night, friends of ours showed up in the middle of our meal, and the wait staff cheerfully added two more place settings at our table. Teresa was married during our stay, and she gave my wife a favor from her reception. It doesn't get any more personal than that! The dining room is a temporary building a few steps from the water's edge. Don Pedro's takes its ambience from its spectacular views of the harbor at Marina Piccola and from Vesuvius across the Bay of Naples. In bad weather, they have plexiglas curtains and space heaters for your comfort. I am confident that you will have a wonderful dining experience at Don Pedro's. Don't be put off by the few customers in the dining room if you visit. The only negative thing I have to say about this restaurant is its location. It's a bit out of the way. Sorrento sits on a bluff high above Marina Piccola, and there is limited access to the beach area. Don Pedro's is the very last restaurant at the end of the marina around a blind corner before you come to the public boat docks. The quality of the food and of the service makes it worth your effort to get there. You won't be disappointed.More
We visited Don Pedro for dinner based on Trip Advisor recommendations but were a little disappointed. The lack of atmosphere probably didn’t help, as we were one of only two couples there, but the food was also uninspired and probably the most expensive we’ve eaten...so far in Italy. Waitress was lovely though and tried her best to create an atmosphere but perhaps better to visit during the summer season.More
We ate here based off a recommendation from a friend from home and loved it! The service was wonderful and the food was even better. The bruschetta was delicious and the black ink pasta with lobster was amazing!! We went to the location by the...port and the sound of the water made it such a romantic experience!More
Had an hour to wait for a boat and visited this place.Fantastic warm welcome and great service! Bought out free cut pizza, and bowls of nibbles, ordered drinks. No rush to get us out! Teresa looked after us very well, and offered local advise. Didn't...order any food but the dishes that I saw looked good and fresh particularly the fish. 5 star and recommendedMore
Called for drinks only and were made very welcome. The cold beer was just what we needed. Right on the beach and a brilliant place for people watching. Well recommended.
Down in the port so take the elevator from town. It’s truly on the beach! Well recommended and great food and service.
A perfect evening, excellent fresh food with incredibly good service, free Prosecco on arrival. Good atmosphere with live music on the night we went. Limoncello at the end of meal. We had the meat and cheese board to start that was simple and delicious. Carbonara...and lobster for main that were the best we’ve had in a week in Italy. Great setting by the beach in a quiet corner of the marina.More
The service was really nice, with the family feel of the restaurant really coming through. The pepper bruschetta was easily the best of our entire trip but the mains weren’t to our taste. This could easily have been us as there was another group who...had been there every night for a week and loved the restaurant.More
Excellent food We had crab /pasta& the special lobster Absolutely delicious Not enough people know about this hidden treasure
Great food and service. Our best family dinner in Italy because of the true homemade feel and great setting
What a find!! New resturant, not been open long. Its on the beach (use the lift from the upper town. Its fantastic, so good we book for the next time half way through our first meal. Very good value for money wounderful food, and very...relaxed. If your intown just book and enjoy.More
Went here with my wife. Good view and access to the beach. Reasonably priced drinks. 2 out of 3 dishes were good (tomato salad and gnocchi) was good the other (porchini tagliatelle) wasn't great, it went gluppy. I would go again though.
Don Pedro was a recommendation from our hotel. Our waitress Teresa was absolutely lovely. The food was delicious. Only challenge is the location is tucked at the end of the marina so it doesn’t pull in the passerby, which is a shame because they deserve...more traffic. Chocolate profiteroles is a must have. We highly recommend this place!More
We were picked up by Antonio, son of the owner. He shared his father’s life story and how he had come back to Sorrento from England to open this restaurant on the beach in Marina Piccolo. His little sister was our waitress and older brother...Joseph the cook. My wife had lobster with local pasta (like a thick spaghetti. I had linguine with crab. These were delicious! For desert we shared chocolate lava cake - amazing !! Call and go to this amazing and wonderful small restaurant - where you will be treated like family!More
