Almost seemed like a joke. The only positive thing is the location, nice. the pizza is a mess, undercooked and generally not very interesting. Crazy prices, a tourist trap. You will spend €35-40 per person to eat a poor quality pizza, I highly recommend going...elsewhere, Naples is full of good pizzerias (maybe not well-known) where you can eat well at honest prices. Maybe marketing destroyed a pizzeria of which I had fond memories.More

Recommended by our B and B hosts. Centrally located, charming, attentive staff. Naples style pizza. Had the Margherita, which was piping hot with fresh basil and added olive oil. Our table neighbors recommended a cold roasted pepper salad that went well with the pizza. Great...introduction to Naples food. House wine was mediocre, but drinkable and the bottles were expensive. All in all, a nice way to start our Napoltano adventure.More

Emperors New Clothes springs to mind! Michelin Guide, really? We were late into our accommodation and were recommended this place by our taxi driver. The queue outside made us think it would be something special. It was not! The waiting staff were not very attentive,...the pizza's weird (I had biscuit crumbled on mine) The wine was vastly overpriced (10 eu a glass!) Go to Lombardi 1892 (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g187785-d3546835-Reviews-Lombardi_1892-Naples_Province_of_Naples_Campania.html?m=19905) Far better, in fact, awesome! Friendly, reasonably priced and genuine.More

By far the best pizza in Naples!!! But be prepared to be abused by the door staff, the wait staff, the kitchen staff, the bus boy, the neighborhood, the dogs on the streets around… These people are unnecessarily abusive. We get there with a reservation...and the guy at the door acts like you’re at the wrong place, wrong time, wrong day. I show him the email and he reluctantly lets us in but not without making us feel like he’s doing us a favor. Meanwhile, he’s arguing with a young woman who wants to come in and he’s making her wait because she doesn’t have a reservation. He lets us in and we find many/most tables empty inside! It reminded me of trying to go to Studio 54 in the late ‘70s. The waiter comes and wants our order but a menu hasn’t been brought (no, there wasn’t a qr at the table) we order and they bring the wrong pizza. We wait for our waiter to see if we made a mistake, he apologized for the wrong pizza and we wait again. The wait staff was disorganized and not attentive, the speakers kept playing nasty rap music in a very high volume making conversation difficult. Yes, the pizza was very good - we had 2! Broccoli/sausage full size and margherita half. The wine was €10 a glass - one of the most expensive glasses of wines during our 5 day visit to Naples. Both pizzas were very good but given all the hype and abuse - definitely not worth it. Street corner pizza in NYC, Chicago, Detroit is far better pizza than any pizza we had in Naples (yes we also went to Barri recommended by S. Tucci and it was really bad pizza (really bad!). I know The NY Times recommended this place but please…. don’t waste your time.More

Upon arrival I might well have dismissed this as a tourist destination due to the obviously unabashed Theatre Of It All -- had it not been for the devoted & consistent line-up of local's who clearly LOVE this place ..& wait in a long queue...outside seemingly for AGES! Our hotel suggested we try here ..& notwithstanding the unashamed playfulness of renaming / representing basic Italian foods .. what is finally delivered on plate IS very nice indeed ! Of course theatre must come at a price ..& so many would wince at an E 18 pizza !!! >. but we had a great time & a most enjoyable night out dining here ! Friendly & reliable table service backs up good kitchen work..this is always a great team, eh!More

We arrived here with no reservation so waited about 20/25 minutes outside on the front which didn’t bother just as we were happy people watching. We sat upstairs in there cosy indoor area. The service was fast and attentive once sat down. The pizza was...lovely but very over priced to other places we had eaten (nearly double the price) and no difference in quality. I don’t think we would return purely on the price.More

We came at 7 PM. We have ordered four pizza and a salad. The waiter was not gentle. The prices were high too much for what we had it’s way too much compared to other pizzeria very famous. We are not satisfied by the service,...and even the pizzas were just OK, not special at all plus we were asking for gluten-free options and only a few pizza were having this option which is not what was mentioned in the menu. Very disappointing very expensive. We were not coming back to the pizzeria for sureMore

Take note this restaurant is a bit off the beaten path from where most tourists will be staying. I was hoping to grab a drink somewhere nearby before my reservation, but there is nothing in the area. I was there on a Sunday in low...season and the restaurant was not full. I knew ahead of time the pizza was more expensive than some other places, but I did not realize wine would be as well. 10 euro for a glass is unbelievable in Naples. I chose the Concettina pizza as it's a combination of 3 varieties; of the 3, my favorite was the ricotta & provola stuffed. The pizza was fine; I don't know if you can find actual "bad" pizza in Naples. But it was not my favorite of the several places I tried, despite being the most expensive. A table near me was doing the tasting menu and the servers were much more attentive to them, explaining every plate. The pizza and a sparkling water came to 26 euro. I probably would not go back.More

Wow, this place is amazing. Some of the best pizza we've ever eaten anywhere and believe me, we have tried them all. From world famous Bianco in Phoenix, AZ (not that great), to the best deep dish in Chicago. From Papa Murphy's signature Halloween Pumpkin...pizza, down to what some people mistakenly call pizza - Detroit Style which is basically hot garbage, Pizzeria da Concettina hits harder than Maynard James Keenan at a Tool concert. The best way to describe this fine establishment is in wholesale insurance terms. The only thing that comes to mind comparable is Bryan Nagy. While at Pizzeria da Concettina we were treated like family and all of our needs were met without us even having to ask, just like when we write business with Bryan Nagy. Much like working with Bryan Nagy, the prices were reasonable for such a high-quality experience. The staff, like Bryan Nagy, went out of their way to ensure our happiness and complete satisfaction. We enjoyed the experience of working with Bryan Nagy so much that we came back for a second night in a row! In summary, if I had to equate the best Pizza place in the world to the only other most amazing experience I've ever had, I would have to say that Pizzeria da Concettina, much like Bryan Nagy does not disappoint.More

If you wish to experience the most expensive pizza in Naples, this is the place. However, products are high quality and pizza is good. Guess you pay for the 'Michelin' label, even though the concept of the bib gourmand label is 'good quality, good value...cooking'. They got the first part right.More

Worst restaurant ever. I never take time to rate restaurants that I am visiting but not this time because I wish I will help someone to save time and money. While I was eating my pizza, I had the feeling that I was eating a...can of crushed tomatoes. Expensive prices for cheap food. With an amount to pay for a cover…. Overated restaurant. Unprofessionnal service. It felt like we were bothering staff with our questions. I will never come back. There are so many restaurants that are better (food and service) to try. Don’t waste your time!!!!!More

Went for an early dinner here as I've been meaning to go for a while and it's one of the few places that remains open over the August holidays. Booked in advance.. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we arrived but they made a...point that we needed a reservation. I visited this place for takeaway years ago and enjoyed it, and the pizza is still a decent standard today, but the prices..! It's ridiculously overpriced compared to the other quality pizzerias in Napoli. We paid London prices for pizza and wine, with pretty much the same or lower quality than we get here in London. Real shame. Would not revisit.More

Like so much of Naples, being chaotic and dirty as it is, the pizzeria is overrated, but worse, the locals here were unaccommodating and behaved as if my appearance at their shop was putting them out. I am polite, I speak the language, I make...no special requests. If you go, don't be surprised by cold stares and wondering if your order is coming. It is said that Napoli is the city Italians love to hate. Me too !!More
