We tried this little friendly and cozy restaurant twice. Once we spent dinner there once we brought home. Both times we had pizza. It was good, tasty, well made and we didn't have to wait long for the orders. No misunderstanding despite the lack due to different languages.

My husband and I found this place while wondering around. Didn't want a huge seafood dinner -- place was packed with locals which is always a good sign. We had a table for two outside after waiting a few minutes. Service was great and pizza was the best we had after spending the last 2 weeks traveling around Italy. We... More

We've had dinner here on numerous occasions as well as other places. We continue to come back for delicious food, great prices and exceptional service. The menu is simple but plenty. They are family owned and operated much like the other places here. All the dishes are delicious. Can't beat this place!

How does one rate a pizzeria as 5 stars? For me, it is based on the experience as well as the food. My wife and I decided to have pizza one evening during our 3 day stay in Gaeta. We decided on Da Emillio solely on it appearing to be a 'local' restaurant. It is not easy to find meaningful... More

This restaurant was recommended us by locals. It is family-run simple trattoria with cosy atmosphere - nothing pretentious or snobbish, just typical neighborhood restaurant with tasteful dishes and pizza at reasonable prices and kind staff. Good choice for those who want to avoid "tourist" places.

We lived in Gaeta during the early '70s. On a return visit a few years ago, we ate dinner at Da Emilio every night of our stay (several days). When did you visit (below) is required. Our review is for an older visit, but April 2015 was the oldest available selection.
