One of the great things about big cities with many tourists, such as Rome, is that you can step away only one or two streets from the main haunts, and you find genuine local restaurants run by people who are interested in their craft, and...More

One of the very best food experiences in my life! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was spectacular, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Every bite of everything we ate was perfect.

Visited on Sunday night. Really great food (especially the rabbit in truffle sauce) . Friendly service and good price.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. The canelloni and the lasagne were delicious but sadly the portions were very small. All in all it was a great find for lunch.

I had been told that in Rome, this is the best place to get an authentic Florentine T-bone steak, and that's no lie. Let's just start with the fact that the waiters are welcoming and very old school; they treat you like a king and...More

We were a group of 7, including three grandchildren at lunch today at Il Buco, an old favourite of ours for some years. We did make a reservation, but discovered that this was not necessary with seemingly all other customers able to get a table...More

Literally fell into this place while walking to Pantheon. Great find. Nice little patio area on a side street, great people watching. Our waiter was snappy and efficient. Probably been here since 1901 but he had his charm. We had lemon linguine and mushroom linguine....More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
