My partner and I dined here recently and it truly was an amazing experience. I can strongly recommend the purple gnocchi. I the fish mains was divine. The wine was delicious. All in all a truly wonderful experience to celebrate my birthday

This is a solid Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere close the main train station (15 minute pleasant walk). I enjoyed the sesame shrimp (crisp, moist, not oily), the home made pasta with red mullet in red sauce (fresh al dente pasta, fresh tomatoes, a generous number of delicate pieces of red mullet, cooked but still nice and firm and... We were recommended this restaurant by a local tour guide and just happened to be very close to out hotel. Modern feel to the restaurant, white table clothes with a modern décor. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient, seemed to be quite a few locals with repeat custom. The food was very good, very well presented with great flavours,... More

There are hundreds of places to eat in Rome but this must be one of the best. Not only are the staff friendly, helpful and efficient but the food is exquisite. We were particularly impressed with the octopus that was cooked to perfection with just a hint of charring to bring out the flavour. This is a dish that needs... More

Friendly service, stylish food, great wine and good atmosphere, mostly local diners and a great change from standard pasta and pizza.

We were fortunate to get a table here for Christmas and dinner was exquisite. The service as stated by previous reviewers was very accomodating, and the place is intimate with mostly locals enjoying a night out. My wife and I decided to come back and we met the owner, who was more than happy to make sure we had a... More

What more could you ask for?? The restaurant is small (pet hate of my partner's!), but the tables are cleverly set out so that they don't seem too close. The wine list was innovative - we had a fab little primitivo. And as for my sesame prawn starter and lobster pasta main, absolutely top marks. My partner's scallops were simply... More

We made a reservation at 10pm, arrived on time, and had to wait to get seated. Then we had to wait more than an hour to get our food, when the table after us already finished their diner. Attached is a photo of the first dish arriving at 23:20. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who thinks his/her... More

We had dinner here our last night in Rome. Yum!!! The food could not have been better. We had the seafood appetizer (clams, mussels, shrimp, sea urchin, oysters). At our request, they made it for 3 and brought seconds of two of the items for our daughter. The wine recommendation was spot on. Entrees and dessert were delicious as well.... More
