Not sure why this was so high rated. The food was very good, service was average, ambience...pretty nice. But...............,not impressed, especially with the price/value/portions. Might recommend it for a couple, but not a family (3 teens, 3 adults). We expected more.

Although a small restaurant this a lovely place to eat. We took our 11 year old along and she was thrilled with her prawns (as were we with our calamari and fish respectively). Beautifully cooked.

The Tartaruga Cantina is the starting point of a walk of life constantly engaged into an evolutionary process: in the course of time our cuisine has undergone renovation, endlessly in quest of harmony and recognition of every single ingredient belonging to its traditional roots. Therefore, on the basis of this concept, the menu is free from all outdated patterns and cliches: the classical menu division gives place to a destructured theme presenting a list of courses in order to personally choose your own ideal food tasting path. The hand-preparation of each single course is the key element which motivates us to delve into this project. We like to consider our - hopefully yours too - restaurant as a food tasting workshop.
