We reached there at 2.45 and they close at 3 but they still allowed us in! The pizza was amazing and the ravioli was superb.

What a great find – a block off Piazza Popolo. The pizza had the thinnest crust I have eaten with a nice char around the edges and the mushrooms were plentiful. My artichoke appetizer was one of the specials of the day. I certainly recommend that diners check out the chalkboard for the daily specials, as a nice glass of... More

We came after reading the great reviews. The place was crowded, mostly by Local pepole and we had to wait for 10 min, but it was worth it! The restaurant established on 1936 and you can realy feel the Italian heritage and atmosphere! The prices were reasonable ( around 10€ for the main dish), and the service was good! Last,... More

Absolutely amazing traditional Italian restaurant with old world charm - super popular but small restaurant which should not be missed on your trip to Rome. Could not believe that the house red was a Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2015 and only for €8! Service was amazing and super waiter Michael who was really helpful and helped us choose the right dishes. I... More

After a great tour of Borghese museum and gardens we had libch nearby at Trattoria dal Pollarolo. Family owned, their pizzas feature delicious thin crust and cheese, meat and vegetable toppings. House red is a Montepulciano and the best Tiramisu (freshly made; family recipe) I have ever had. Reasonable and very enjoyable, lots of locals mixed in with tourists.

This restaurant prepare quite good local dishes with special highlight of the "tondelli caio e pepe". Professional and kind service. Very good price for the high quality food. If you are around piazza del popolo in Rome I suggest to stop and have lunch or dinner.

First time we arrived there it was impossible to get a table so we tried the other day and were lucky enough. First of all I should mention that the staff are kind of impatient. The waiter gave us a menu and came every minute to ask if we were ready to order. Don't you know that the rules of... More

One of my favorite foods is Italian I like to try everyplace that has good reviews on trip advisor. So I couldn't wait to try Trattoria Del Pollarolo. The food was good - to very good and the pizza was what you expect from a traditional Italian pizza thin and dry with just a little cheese and sauce ...but the... More

We visited Trattoria del Pollarolo (Dal Pollarolo) due to its close proximity to Piazza Del Popolo, recommended to try Buffalo Mozzarella and a local Spaghetti Carbonara. Service - 4 - This can't really be faulted, food came promptly, no complaints. Food - 2 - Buffalo Mozzarella and Parma Ham was as good as we have been told and went on... More
