My mother and I had an excellent lunch here, with great house wine and ended with a mouth-watering dessert. Excellent food, service and very reasonable prices.

You must eat here. It is fabulously authentic. The pasta dishes are to die for. All the Anitpasta dishes are delicious and fresh. Whenever we are in Rome we have to go to Hosteria Romana. It is a simple restaurant, white table clothes, very clean and authentic which serves great food. The service is good and the waiters know enough... More

You could easily bypass this place as from the outside it does not look much but what awaits inside is a true Roman experience, fantastic food, friendly service especially as we were a party of twelve. We let the restaurant chose a selection of starters which were excellent, house red and wine were excellent and main courses exceeded expectations. Finished... More

I ate the greatest pasta ever here. All other pasta is ruined for me. Order the Amatriciano for life changing pasta.

We visited this restaurant as it was recommended by hotel staff. We cannot complain about the food. It was 2.15 pm and the guy at the door welcomed us smiling and mentioned nothing about the kitchen closing or anything. However, from the first minute the waiter (male in his late fifties) made us feel extremely uncomfortable. He was not happy... More

We saw this place a week ago but haven't been able to get a reservation until now. Hint: get a reservation, no real chance of just turning up and getting a seat unless you are super lucky. We had read a number of TA reviews and were very excited about eating here - we were not disappointed. It was a... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
