We ate here following a recommendation and it was fantastic. Excellent, authentic Italian food in a neighborhood populated by Italians and less 'tourists'. Superb value and service. The Chef (Fabrizio) could not do enough to help us and is a genuine character. We would definitely visit again. Not to missed!!

Whenever I'm in Rome I always like visiting this restaurant. The menu has changed slightly from the last time I visited but it was still good. The roast beef on the menu was by far the best choice. Wines are slightly on the high side so be careful what to order or if you are being recommended by the stuff,... More

This is place is local!!! It's so hard to find these gems nowadays because everyone wants to eat at the center of the city in a modern restaurant. You know you are having a local meal when the place is simple, the tables have the red and white squares and the plates remind you of your childhood!!! This place was... More

Went out of our way to visit this little gem after having an exceptional experience back in 2014. We ordered the pollo con peperoni (roman chicken) hoping it would be just as good as the first time and we're thrilled they did not disappoint. For the second entree we wanted to try something new that we've never had and noticed... More

We went there our first night in Rome. Food and service were good, especially for the price. We were going to go back at a couple points in our trip, but it was closed every time and saw no sign up regarding when they were next open.

Zuchine with garlic and olive oil. Straccetti di manzo con rucola eur 15. All excellent. Definitely we will come again. If they... More

I have eaten here many times in the past and it was one of my favorite little restaurants in Rome. Last year I took my entire family- a party of 8. We had a reservation, but definitely did not feel welcome as I had in the past. Service was terrible. Our food was brought out at different times. They were... More

We enjoyed a tasty lunch with friendly service. Recommend the ravioli with sage and butter sauce - just perfect.

I wouldn't come back, but still an option for cheap dinner. Service was good, but quality and food is normal, not very elaborated and special stuff.. just regular dishes.

Nice local food, get recommended by local to us. Fair price and good service ( for a change! It is rare to get good customer service in Rome!) Local musicians played their instruments for coins. Mussels dish is amazing! (only recommended days such as Tuesday ,Thursday and Friday in the menu). Pasta always great and i enjoyed my oxtail that... More
