Worth every penny - Family style you eat what every they are cooking which is out of this world. Great energy - fun - the passion for the food is in the air. It is like some one opened up their kitchen to cook you a meal from anti paste to desert and limon cello. One of my highlights to... More

Our hotel recommended this place and we strolled to it having been told it was a true experience of Rome. We arrived about 15 mins before opening (6:45pm) and the place was in darkness. We were asked to come back in 15 mins and when we did the place was heaving and we were lucky to get a table! I'm... More

Family dinner, ended up there following recommendation of Airbnb host. No menus, no info on options or prices. The waiter recommended the antipasti della casa. The food was fine, pizzas, pasta, croquettes, salami and ham aplenty, simple but mostly excellent. My wife and I then shared a seabram with a side of chips and then again dolci della casa, very... You don't choose your menu. They put food on the table and you must eat everything. Then say stop... It's really italian. I had a lot of fun in the restaurante with the 2 old employees

I have to write a comment on yesterday's visit to probably Rome's best genuine. Fantastic food - especially the anti pasti was unique. The atmosphere is like if you are part of an Italian Sunday family dinner. Do not expect a menu card. The owners will probably decide what they will serve you - and that is a great experience.... We have tried several restaurant in Rome and this was the best in terms of food (fine italian taste) and italian experience. It is a family owned restaurant extremely cosy with a very nice atmosphere! The prices are ok comparing to other restaurants in Rome.

For me and my family it was one of the best experiences in Rome. At first, it's not a touristic place, so the food is perfect!!! And the owners are fantastic, very kind and funny, they make us feel at home, but in a typical italian home!!! Forget the menu and let them bring you what they want, it's awesome!!!

We happened upon here right after they opened for the evening and stopped in for a meal. All trip we had delicious food, but Dino & Tony put everywhere else in second place. There was a menu, but nobody used it. Dino and Tony came through asking if you wanted antipasto (starters), pasta, and then carne or pesce (meat or... More

We had a large group of 15 people spending a week in Italy and wanted a special place to eat "like the locals" on our last night in town. We made reservations and upon our arrival we were immediately seated and the action began. We were served a full five course meal: wine, aperitivo, antipasta, primo, secondo, insalata, dolce, dessert... More
