This is a superb pub we visited on our week's holiday to Rome. We had read up about this pub on the Internet back in our home town of Liverpool and on reading the many positive reviews we couldn't wait to visit here. The pub...More

Searched for a pub to watch Juventus vs. Monaco game. Not the best beer range, but made it for us. I sat down in a corner lodge but soon the bartender came to say that it is reserved for bigger groups of people, since I...More

That's the strapline from the Highlander in recollection, seemed to be true - the staff were very chatty even when they collected the glasses, checking we were all having a great time - which was the case! Once here you may want to log in...More

It's ok but doesn't give you the feeling of been in Rome. Don't see the point of going there for tourists.

Went to the Highlander Pub to watch NFL games. Basically service and food were sub par. Too many people in 3 different rooms for just one waitress. Owner was definitely having a fun time. Having said that....it was a fun place. All NFL games were...More

We were super happy that we could watch the NFL season opener here (Go Broncos). They kept the bar open even though they normally close around 2:30 am. The owner is pretty chatty and hospitable, but not really good at reading the crowd. We would...More

The atmosphere here tonight is terrific. I turned up with a friend in shorts and t shirt only to find the place crawling with people in togas. We were made welcome and had a fine time. Drinks cheap. Very British. NOT an I tian experience....More

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to

You can follow almost every single game of your favourite team on one of our HD screens! We feature all the important games from The Champions League, NFL, NBA, NHL, Premiership, La Liga, The Bundesliga, and of course Serie A. Highlander is one of the few bars in Rome that shows the major rugby venues around the world such as the The Rugby World Cup, The 6 Nations Cup,Currie Cup,English Championship... The sports section of the Highlander is extremely highlighted but that is not the only activity of the pub. We have been building some good reputation with our theme parties that we host on a regular basis...Highlander Pub is open every single day of the year! Currently our opening hours are from 4 pm until 2 am. Saturday and Sunday and on some special occasions Highlander is open from midday until 2 am! Some of our guests have a bit of a hard time finding our pub! Indeed we must admit The Highlander Pub is quite well hidden even if it is only 5 minutes walk from famous Roman sites like Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) or The Pantheon! Indeed it is one block away from Palazzo Borghese and The Italian Parliament is only a minute walk too!
