Near our accomodation we had a wonderful family meal here which was of great quality and fantastic service. I have a little bit of not so great Italian but they were very patient and not patronising as many are when you try to speak the...More

Food was simple and genuine. Bucatini Amatriciana were excellent, with crispy guanciale and a very pleasant smoky flavour. Portions are huge! Decor is very traditional for a Rome trattoria, with kitschy paintings and checkered table cloths. Experience is very authentic, this is not a gentrified...More

My best friend and I have been travelling in Rome and visited this restaurant as it was next to our accomodation. The initial impression is that it was a family owned restaurant, which we really liked. There were family photos on the wall that added...More

Stumbled upon this little restaurant by chance and was ever so glad I did. They have been here since the 1930s and they serve typical roman cuisine in an exquisite traditional way. The ambience is that of a family run restaurant and not particularly elegant...More

Nothing but good things to say about this place. We went for lunch. The pasta was amazing and the service was prompt and very friendly. Quiet family-friendly atmosphere, very reasonable prices. Maybe one of Rome's hidden gems?

This seems to be a family run restaurant. Decor and service both a little tired and initially appeared quiet for a Saturday night but then filled up with locals and is clearly authentic Italian. Friendly staff who also catered for the children in the restaurant....More

We came upon this ristorante on a day where we were visiting the sites around the Piazza San Giovanni in Lateran. At lunchtime, the menu here looked interesting and the interior is what we would expect from a family run restaurant in Rome. Service is...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
