If you want to try the real experience of a Rosticceria, try I Molisani. Great variety of pastas and main dishes. We ordered pasta Marinara, a plate of calamari, shrimp and sardines al friti, also fresh herring, fish of the day ! A complete meal. Don't expect a lot of consideration for tourists but it is part of the real... More

On our 17 day trip to Rome we probably had 15 meals here or taken back to our apartment from here. I have been going here for years and they are consistently fantastic. They are also really nice people. I had not been in Italy for a year and a 1/2 and was greeted with open arms when returning. They... More

This is a restaurant frequented by locals in the main so do not expect table cloths, cloth napkins or silver service. Do expect to experience genuine home cooked rustic regional Italian cooking. About 70% of the trade appears to be take away. I only wished I had tried a wider selection of the food on offer, it looked lovely. The... More

From the start we were made most welcome by Marta who translated the dishes for us as our Italian is limited, she then said we could have a half portion of Gnocchi to accompany our pizzas as we had wanted to taste. It was as expected, fantastic, the sauce was superb, overall our meal very good and not expensive at... More

Because it is very near the cinema we stopped there after we had seen a film.We ate some pieces of pizza,it was really good. The flaw of this place is the high confusion and the bad cleaning of the sitting and the tables .....the service is kind but not really professional

We found the food to be ok but not great. The place was easy to find and the staff was very helpful in explaining what each item was. The atmosphere was nice also.

I can only agree with all the great reviews for this Rosticceria. This was one of my favourite places while in Rome. So authentic, so local, so tasty. I like to see what I am going to eat and all of their counters looked mouthwatering. Pizzas by slice, vegetable section, pastas, different types of meat etc Nice house wine. Its... More

The rotisserie is located close to Fiume Square, just 1 km from People's Square, and you can eat every day for lunch and dinner except on Wednesday and it is ideal for those who have a limited budget or for those who do not want to lose much time to eat. "I Molisani” has a good pizza by the slice... More

We came here after our visit at the Villa Borghese. It's a deli like restaurant that we pick our food at the counter (there're diff types of cold dishes/hot dishes displayed), then we look for a table, they bring the food to our table and we pay before we leave. Tables are limited (there're some tables in the room adjacent... More
