My girlfriend and I picked this place randomly, after dinner. Our curiosity was rewarded. The ice cream is great and the place offers a large set of flavors, some of which are exclusive. For example, I had peanut and oreo and they were just delicious

Good tasting gluten free cones. Also good gluten free gelato. Not the best but certainly tasty. the colosseum being in view at the end of the street makes it even more novel.

With so many flavours to choose from you may have trouble! I had coconut, chocolate and liquorice - the chocolate is fantastic and I love liquorice so was happy to see that. My partner had caramel, rum and raisin (Malaga) and cherry. Delicious and creamy with lots of different choices, and also the cheapest we had seen - 3€ for... More

This gelato was fantastic. Rich, creamy and a great selection of flavors. I loved the Cassata. I made plans to go back to the area for dinner a few days later, in part just so I could have the gelato again. This place is in a great part of Rome with many places to eat, and such a scenic area... More

This little gem was not far from our hotel and we were able to find a dairy free ice cream for our 2 year old boy who cannot tolerate dairy! The ice cream is so delicious, a MUST TRY!

One of best gelati we had in Rome. Just taste Nutella and cry for not living in that superb city. If I lived there, I would go back to Gelatone every...often. Tasty as ice-cream can be. Strongly recommended!

Best we had in Rome!! And we had gelato about 3 times every day as we walked around sightseeing.... More

I believe this was one of the extensive flavour offerings we saw. The wafer cone was crispy and toasted - but the star was their gelato: creamy and delicious - packed with flavour. We had a few flavours between us and none disappointed. We were glad we came here after having lunch in one of the nearby restaurants.

As good as any gelato I've ever had would definitely go back when in Rome. If its within 500 meters of where you are standing, I'd walk by other gelato stores to get to this one.
