I can see that the staff here went out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. We had the mushroom pizza- it was fabulous!

Food was homemade and delicious. Lasagna was to die for. Always wanted authentic lasagna made in Rome. Service was slow but redeemed themselves with a glass of free Proseco and another of delicious Limoncello plus lots of help with speaking Italian. Sit down after 5pm so you are not surrounded with the hustle and bustle of extending into the Piazza... More

Waiter's personally was dry, not friendly. Spaghetti Carbonara was bland and the pizza margarita's crust was so thin with barely any cheese on it.

Tried different dishes and we find faults on everyone...pizza diavolo wasn't spicy, lasagne was to sour and burned on sides, carbonara was not tasty...only good thing was it was close when it started to rain...

We had a very nice lunch here. Staff were friendly. It was freezing outside and we sat in the covered external part which was kept nice and warm. We both had pizza and they were good. The Italian people next to us asked us how they were and ordered one after. Good price in tourist hot spot. Would recommend.

Came here twice after our magnificent first experience! Gnocchi with Gorgonzola and spinach is to die for, and the second time I added pancetta - nearly died with how amazing it is!!! Service is lovely and very friendly; first time we received free prose I and second time limoncello. Highly recommend!

I was in Rome for four nights and stayed in the next Piazza (Piazza Farnese). The second night I discovered Virgilio and dined there three nights in a row. The waiters were so kind to me and remembered me each time. They patiently spoke Italian ONLY with me, and while I am adequately fluent they were more than happy to... More
