Best coffee in Rome, maybe even in Italy, and according to some even in the whole world. Espress at EUR 0.90 only, but for only EUR 0.20 extra you get their organic coffee (LA REGINA DI JAVA - BIO) which is even better than their regular cofee. It is delicate but pungent, with blackberry and vanilla-like flavours. Unfortunately, they don't... More

The coffee is good and cheap (90c for espresso). Don't miss the granita which is very-very rich and tasty.

We came across this lovely coffee shop while looking for Pantheon. The weather was rainy and cold. So, having a latte machiatto and coffee latte made us quite happy because we get some warm... I recommend here to everyone...

It is one of the few original coffe places in Rome, they still do the coffee themselves. Not a mainstream firm of coffe.

Coffee is good and cheap, and fast served...hot chocolate is average, actually nothing special, and i think that in a so famous bar it should be better..

We had hot chocolate here on each of the 3 days we stayed in Rome. It is absolutely delicious. You pay for it first and then take your receipt to the counter. The hot chocolate is thick, hot and so tasty! Try it you won't be disappointed!

Went with my girlfriend in search of a real Italian coffee. We read about this place and were intrigued. After going through the crowd to the till to pay (espresso is priced attractively at 90 cent) and then go to a barista to process your order. I had an espresso and a macchiato, my girlfriend had a cappuccino. Coffees were... More

Oh this place... €1.10 for a cappuccino. Hit this place up 2 - 3 times per day. It is so good. May be intimidating but walk in go to cash register, order, take your receipt to the counter and the staff will tear your receipt and get you a cup. Its no nonsense and the staff are busy pushing cups,... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
