Walked in off the street on the early side and got a seat for five. Within our group the more memorable dishes ordered included a super yummy salad with corn and scrambled eggs - after many days of pastas and pizza this was a great change. Dessert included an Tiramisu that was amazing as was the cooked pears. Service was... More

This is the worst dining experience I've ever had. I blame myself for being led in off the street! Ordered a bottle of wine for €22 - couldn't drink it so asked if I could send back & order my favourite wine Amarone for €50 thinking I couldn't go wrong....VILE! Not like any Amarone I have tasted before. Was too... More

Rossini Ristorante has a varied menu and a small, but reasonably priced, wine list. The service is excellent. The mixed smoked fish starter has three varieties of fish, sliced paper thin. It's the best smoked fish I've ever had. Pasta, of course, is also excellent.

Had a long day and decided to have a late dinner at Rossini's. Waitstaff was very pleasant, the food was very good, and the prices reasonable.

We had dinner at the hotel's Restaurant Rossini. The service was lacking. We ordered two pastas that came with cheese even though ideally one of them we would have loved not to put cheese on, ok our bad for not asking. There were two other tables eating. They had bread on the table. We ordered drinks and food and waited... More

We entered this restaurant. The melon & Parma ham was outstanding, excellent gnocchi 4 cheeses and ended with an amazing Tartuffo. Service was perfect. The cherry on the cake was very reasonable price for all these meals. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

We dined at this ristorante as it was very close to our apartment in Rome. The previous 2 days the waiter had beckoned us from the street to try their food. I must say the scampi pasta was divine, as was the fish of the day cooked in foil. The waiter service was very attentive and we felt get comfortable... More

Good carbonara but service not friendly and very uptight. Our family (2 adults and 20+ year old daughters) well dressed for an evening out on our last night in Rome. Waiter was not welcoming and cold. We truly wanted to leave before ordering but decided to give the place a chance. The food was ok but not worth the $$$.... More

Nice food not crowded. Not a tourist trap. We had such a good time with good wine pizza, ravioli and excellent limonchello

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
