Everything I would want from a restaurant. Simple without being basic, authentic, welcoming, helpful staff, plentiful choice, good prices, great food and the bonus of being right opposite our hotel! We ate there two nights and both were 20% off food and drink when booked through the My Fork reservation service.

This restaurant is literally across the road from the Domus Romana Hotel so we ate there most nights. Cosy yet elegant with attentive staff and fabulous freshly cooked food. On our last night, Saturday 18 February,, I ordered the wrong freshly cooked carbonaira and they didn't charge me for it and offered a replacement. Now that's what I call good... More

We went as a family of 4 with a 10 and 12 year-old. One is a picky-eater, so the pizza worked well for her. There were plenty of options for the more adventurous eaters amongst us. We had a margarita pizza, pasta all'amatriciana, rissoto with mushrooms and artichokes, the fried calamari, a side of broccoli and an eggplant flan. All... More

Authentic Roman dinner spot right in a great location! This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. We went as a party of 5 around 7:30 and were seated immediately. The staff was all extremely friendly and inviting, all speaking good English. We started with the house wine, which was surprisingly delicious. We ordered a Carbonara-like pasta, and two gnocchi... We used Trip advisor to find a good restaurant, close to our hotel and we were not disappointed! We had a seafood spaghetti from the specials menu and a pesto linguini we also tried the pizza here! It was all tasty and with the 20% online booking discount very reasonable. The ambiance was great and service good too! Recommended!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff and it did not disappoint. It is not a place that a tourist would normally stumble into as it is in a side road. The evening that we went there seemed to be lots of locals eating there ...always a good sign. We shared an anti pasta plata as a starter, this... More

A good and pleasant restaurant. Mediterranean kitchen with a touch of Sardinia. One ( of 2) of the owners is a Sardo chef. Their aim is giving the best. If only you see and taste the starter - insalata di mare- you will agree. The two non- Italian waiters are absolutely top. My main dish was the spigola ( fresh... More

Enjoyed several meals at Ristorante Berzitello which was very close to our hotel and nic and convenient after a long days sightseeing. Particularly enjoyed a baked sea bass with saute potatoes and a delicious tiramisu which my husband and I shared together - yummy. House wine was fine for quaffing too.

We came her on our last evening in Rome: the previus night we'd booked but there was a compete power outage so it ahd to close. My bf declared his spaghetti vongole the best (he had this as his starter every evening in Rome!). We had fish for main course. It was fresh and delicious baked with potatoes and vegetables.... Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
