A friend recommended the famous chef Colonna restaurant Open. We had reserved for lunch and expected a gourmet meal. Which was not! Self serving style, the choice was limited and of fair taste, not more. The restaurant was half empty and the personnel busy to...More

As our last meal in Rome it was a fitting goodbye. The serving was incredible, having each part perfectly served. The preamble of appetizers were delicious and just enough to keep occupied, while the main meal was small but delicious. The dessert was mind blowing...More

after reading the reviews here we decided to go for lunch. this is a simple buffet. not sophisticated, particularly interesting or even well executed. i would summarize this place as fancy restaurant that offers OK lunch at posh environment to the business folks around.

We visited for the €16 buffet lunch and at a price less than most of their evening starters, I can't fault it. The restaurant belongs to Antonella Colonna who is Italian TV's equivalent of Gordon Ramsay so if you've ever fancied trying Michelin One Star...More

We went for dinner to the upstairs restaurant. Very nice decor and ambiance. Interesting, creative cuisine and we recommend Crudo di gamberi, Gnocchi, and capellini con gamberi e uovo. Wine list good with a very broad price range that can meet anybody's spending will. Good...More

I went there with a friend for the buffet, as it had been recommended as a good value for money (once it has a Michelin star). Service was terrible, not only to order drinks, but also to get them served. I had to stand up...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

no dress code. Don't expect anything elegant! It's self-service and too expensive for the food it offers
