They are specialised in grill dishes (fish & meat) and I advise to go for one of those dishes. One of the best steaks I had in a long time. House wine is excellent and service is very friendly and professional.

Celebrated my wife's birthday at this restaurant. Food was fantastic and the service faultless, they even put together a birthday cake and red roses at very short notice.

I enjoyed this restaurant. I was here with two friends yesterday . I tried a well done steak with French fries. You can see the chef while he is preparing your steak and you can also choose the size and type of sirloin. My friends really appreciated this dinner. Delicious also the dessert !!!

The food was beautiful; the pasta was cooked to perfection and the steak was brilliant. Fresh food, some prepared in front of you with memorable service to match particularly from the man in the picture. I would definitely visit this restaurant again!

My partner and I went to this restaurant on the 23rd September after reading reviews on here and we were staying at Hotel delle Province across the road. The main courses (seafood risotto and steak) were fantastic as were the tiramisus. However we ordered the tomato and mozzarella (caprese) for starters which was nice. HOWEVER, when it came to the... We were stay at Hotel delle province and across the street is a little gold mine. Food and service are fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. If you are in the area I recommend it.

Eight of us descended on the restaurant on a Friday evening sometime after 8.30pm. The head Waiter/Manager welcomed us all and provided us with a run down of the main Al-a-carte menu. We found other nice dishes on the less expensive menu. Wine by the litre and all set for a special 60th birthday of one of our party. From... More

We were staying at the Hotel Delle Province over the road and tried this restaurant after good Trip Advisor Reviews. I booked the first meal as they were setting up and when we arrived later in the evening, Pietro Paulo remembered my name as he set us to our table. (We sat inside and the air-con made the restaurant very... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
