Lack of communication between costumer and wait staff, as they were more concerned with brining in business than attending to their current consumer.

Simply the worst meal we have experienced. Positives - The beer was cold. Negatives - overpriced, cold, re"warmed" from frozen food. Starters "to share" were tiny - literally 5 pieces of salami and some rocket with grated cheese. "Chicken" was defrosted flat pieces of meat. Chips were oven cooked covered in salt. Carbonara was simply rewarded from frozen. When I... More

My fiancé and I recently went here for lunch. Unaware of what was around and just looking for a quick eat it seemed to be the best of the three other restaurants surrounding. It really isn't, I had a pizza and my partner had a burger. The burger was straight out of the packet frozen. It was terrible, she had... More

We had breakfast here 3 times, as we stayed in a B&B which included Italian breakfast at this place. It was okay, the staff was friendly. We had dinner as well here once and we got 20% discount as B&B guests like this it was a good price, the salad was nice the pasta was just okay. Honestly if we... More

This place is absolutely terrible and should be avoided by all but especially tourist. Service was good but the food was a joke! The food they show on the menu is not the food they serve. I come from an Italian family and have eaten Italian food my entire life and the stuff they serve is a poor representation of... More

My husband and I had just arrived in Rome only hours earlier and thankfully had already eaten somewhere else really decent and reasonable. We were taking a stroll around the area trying to take it all in, I was quite overwhelmed by the crowds and people trying to sell you this or sign you up for that including the 'jigalo'... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
