Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food was not great, server was a bit rude. When they brought us our bill we noticed they charged us for 2 litres of wine instead of 2 glasses, charged for bread/service for more than the number of people we had at our table among...other extra charges. They fixed the wine but when they brought the bill back it was very confusing and we still had questions about the charges that didn't line up with menu pricing. The server kept assuring us it was all correct and we didn't want to make a scene, so we paid and as soon as we paid the server grabbed the bill off the table, crumpled it up and scurried away. It seemed pretty shady and we felt ripped off. Noticed it was a theme in Rome, bringing small dishes to the table that weren't ordered, saying something is on the house then reversing course when the bill comes, adding a few dollars onto the bill here and there, knowing that foreign tourists will feel uncomfortable making a scene or won't even think to check. Anyway, I'd say save your money for another restaurant in the area.More

This restaurant is close to the Airbnb we are staying at so we gave it a try. Food was ok, standard pasta options. Brocolli side was boiled beyond recognition and tasted like much. They over charged us for wine. We pointed that out and they...overcharged us again. We just left. Lots of better options,More

This restaurant has a great range of food, all very tasty and fresh. I visited with my (fussy) children and (vegetarian) husband and everyone found something they liked. Hubbie had the pasta cacio e pepe and said it was the best he'd ever tasted. The...whippersnappers were very happy with their pasta amatriciana and pasta con sugo di arrosto. I was the only one who didn't have pasta- I tried the artichoke starter and spezzatino (stewed meat) for my main course. The artichoke was lovely and fresh, and the spezzatino was delicious and tender. The wine was ok and the dessert ( ricotta and chocolate cake) was nice too. If I come back to Rome, I'll definitely be eating here again.More

Went here with another couple. Excellent pasta. Get the carbonara dish. Best pasta we had in Rome. House wine for 10 euros is a steal. Excellent service. Go early or you might have to wait for a table. Gets very busy and with good reason....Great pasta and wine at a great price. Ate here twice in 3 days. All 4 of us miss it already.More

Great meal, nice workers and service. The pasta gricia and pesto pasta were awesome. Polpette was delicious too. Passed on dessert because we were so full.

We toured the Vatican today, and we asked our guide for a local restaurant recommendation for authentic Roman food. He recommended this restaurant, and it was delicious! My husband had the beef stuffed with vegetables and I had the pasta con broccoli. It was incredible,...and the best meal we have had in Rome so far!More

Great local trattoria serving amazing pasta dishes (not a dish over 10 EUR) as well as other traditional non-pasta dishes. Highly recommend!

Place is okay, like other restaurants nearby. The waiter was rather rude; super demanding like he was the customer, very acid looks, and not very patient…. Pitty, because the location was nice.
