We went to this restaurant for dinner and it was really great! The atmosphere is fancy and modern. The food was hilarious with fresh ingredients and some new creations, which I have eaten never before.

This restaurant is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Rome .It has a wide range of Sushi,Roles and teppanyaki with very good taste and presentation. Prices are in the high side but it is worth it.

Went to Shinto with a couple of colleagues and it was overall really good. The service was indeed friendly and attentive, the location is nice and the sushi is probably not extraordinary but good and they offer some interesting rolls etc., which are maybe not perfectly traditional but I liked it.

Echo with other reviewers, the two female receptionists is horrible and racist! We are Asian, they treated us really bad and no smile at all from the beginning, don't let us sit at an empty table and said it was specially reserved, that table kept empty for the entire night. They also gave us a wrong receipt which was much... More

I came here while visiting Rome with my girlfriend for her birthday. The place has an amazing location, and it is not easy to find good sushi in the center of Rome, so we decided to give it a try. Sushi is not the freshest I have ever had, but prices definitely are on the high end.

Great atmosphere, service, and a wide selection of maki and sushi. We are definitely going again. Everything we had was of great quality and well prepared. Recommended for anyone looking for great sushi in Rome.

Nice setup and environment, friendly staff, excellent cuisine. It is not cheap, but the seafood is great and very accurately cut and presented. I appreciated the tasty mix between classic recipes and new ideas. The restaurant features a nice teppan and a kaiten, and offers delivery, too.

If you want to taste plastic, or tasteless stuff that looks like sushi sashimi and the like, go eat there. If you have even a primitive idea of what Japanese cuisine is, stay away from this terrible place. It used to be years ago "acceptable" . Now, it is offensive to call it food. Staff is kind, but either totally... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
