We found this restaurant online and gave it a go - we had to go back on our second evening as it was so good! Wonderful fresh-cooked food with an intimate atmosphere and really lovely staff. Food was brilliant and prices were really good.

We visited Il Tunnel twice when we were in Rome. It is a small restaurant with such a welcoming atmosphere. Appears a favourite with the locals, and I can see why. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating for our non-italian...More

I’ve been here in this August after 11 years. This restaurant is still very good: classical italian foods and desserts. The pizzas are thin and crispy, pasta is well made. The chicken breath with mushroom and pees is wonderfull. Italian beers are also tasty, I...More

Terrific find, 2 minutes from our hotel (thanks to Trip Advisor and the many reviewers - would never have known it was there otherwise). Small-ish, family-feel restaurant serving fantastic food; we had 2 antipasto (highly recommend the bresaola) and 2 impossible-to-finish pastas, all exceptionally good....More
