We found this restaurant online and gave it a go - we had to go back on our second evening as it was so good! Wonderful fresh-cooked food with an intimate atmosphere and really lovely staff. Food was brilliant and prices were really good.
We visited Il Tunnel twice when we were in Rome. It is a small restaurant with such a welcoming atmosphere. Appears a favourite with the locals, and I can see why. The staff were so friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating for our non-italian...More

Small-ish, family-feel restaurant serving fantastic food; we had 2 antipasto (highly recommend the bresaola) and 2 impossible-to-finish pastas, all exceptionally good....More
