I had not done sufficient research to learn that probably ALL Italian restaurants would be serving traditional fish meals for this dinner offering. Food was good, but I am not a fish fan. The soup dish was delicious, made with a type of fish known as Skate - but by the time it came around, I was getting quite full... More

We had a great dinner here. Had first and second course, with a bottle of wine. Not the cheapest meal around but worth every penny and absolutely no hidden costs. The staff were friendly and attentive. After becoming a little disinterested with eating out in Rome after being ripped off, this place restored my good opinion. A great last night... More

My wife and I are foodies, we enjoy going to different countries to retry regional foods. This place, even though it's near the Vatican Museums, is not a tourist trap restaurant. They do offer a set menu but the items on it are the real deal. We especially enjoyed their Roman-style tripe, which is tender and almost buttery. Prices are... More

Went there with family, read reviews and was hoping for better. Service was excellent but the food was awful and very expensive. Disappointed.

Friendly staff! And the food was really good! And price wasn't bad either. We had the rigatoni with tomato sauce and oxtail. And wow it was amazing.

We went there cause it was recommended.BIG MISTAKE! At first sparkling water without gas,it was like plain.Service was poor and they made us feel like they were doing us a favour. I ordered meat balls (15 euros), and it was 5 pcs of under cooked tasteless inedible meatballs, which i couldnt and i didnt eat. It was the worst meal of... More

Came for a dinner with friends.. Ordered tuna fish.. However, only last two portions of tuna fish left (to highlight, we came at half past seven, i.e. the beginning of the shift). So, two of my frineds had seabass, my friend and myself tuna fish - medium. What we received overcame the worst immaginations. Two seabasses in tons of terribly... More

We've been to Rome twice, and this is probably the best meal we've had. We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Vatican Museum. The place is filled with locals, but we were greeted warmly. The fried appetizers ('suppli' and vegetables) were delicious, and light despite being fried. The saltimbucca and pasta were wonderful. Our friends had the meatballs, and... More

Two amazing appetizers that are not on menu: "Fiore de zucca and Bacala". Went there with my family and no reservations, luckily they were able to get us in and service was spot on as well as food. Took a bit of a long time to get our main courses but well worth the wait.

We have beento this restaurant twice in the week we spend in Rome, as my parents in law liked it that much. The restaurant has a modern feel with rustic tables and a menu which offers a nice mix of roman cuisine but also dishes for people who like comfort food. The food is good (saltimbocca & veal cheeks are... More
