Stopped at this place for a break from the hours of walking around this beautiful city. Have been eating a lot of pizza and was looking forward to a plate of good old french fries. This place was just what we needed for a quick drink and a few nibbies (as we call them). Listening to the waitress singing "Jumping... More

I left the place feeling like I hadn't eaten at all, that's how unsatisfactory my meal was. The only good thing was the tomato soup that my husband had. My grilled mozzarella was good but it came with a salad that looked like it had been left outside for a few days. The potato pie was bland and the fish... More

This "Manhattan" American style bar used to be called Mad Jacks, and is now remodeled to be more sterile, with English written everywhere, to appeal most likely to American tourists looking for something non-Italian and familiar...the waiters even speak English before knowing whether you're American. With each change of ownership/management, the Mad Jacks experience has deteriorated, and now it's at... More

Rome, the first stop on an Italian tour for my wife and I. We hadn't planned much but decided to wander the city our first night. It was raining the entire evening and we ended up getting lost. In a desperate effort to escape the cold and dampness we tucked into a quaint pub; Mad Jacks. Just to get a... More

After a long day of sight-seeing Rome, we wanted to end our trip with a limoncello in this bar. The start of a great evening. The staff was really nice, we talked for quite a long time with them. The knew a lot about the drinks/beers they sold. After the limoncello we went for some cocktails, got some free shots..... More

Friendly service, cold beer and delicious pizza served by one of the owner/brothers. They are Italian but bought the bar from someone else and did not change the name. Sad that the reviews depend on who is working that day! They have to get their act together I guess.

Food was excellent and good value for money but when we arrived there the frist time and had a drink we did not really get a friendly welcome, we were served quickly but nothing was said to us to make us feel like going back there, no smile or anything warm. We went back later on for a Pizza and... More

Just off the main tourist areas very near Campo de Fiori and the Jewish Qtr. Outside seating good and the food was very good. We had Baguettes for lunch. Be careful as the are not the UK size. They will feed 2 people very comfortablely. Plus the are cooked in the bar's wood burning oven as well.

Hard to convey about being gluten free but the waitress was patient and finally understood!!! Although I am the onlyGf person in my group my family raved about the pizza and bruschetta!! My mom and I spilt the antipasti and was delicious :) they also had a great bottle of prosecco!!
