Food was nothing special. Not bad but very average. We had homemade pasta, lasagna and pizza. They also have daily menu, drinks included, for reasonable price. Bearing in mind there are plenty of restaurants in Rome, I think this one doesn't deserve to be recommended. Despite the terrace is on the street it's quite cozy. If you are staying near... More

I choose the grilled octopus and it was not my taste. Since the clients were mostly locals, I think that the traditionals would have been a better choice.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our Air BnB host. Thank you! Our food was outstanding, the wine suggested was superb, and the server/owner was a delight.

My husband and I visited Rome in August 2016. We came across this pizzeria by chance and ended up having two rounds of pizza and a cheese platter (I fell in love with their ricotta). We came back there once again on our last day in Rome, even though it was not in our root. The second time it was... More

My friends and I went to Trastevere on a Sunday to visit the market, and we were absolutely famished afterwards. We found this place about 10 mins walk from the market and were pleased to see that they were serving a buffet for 15 eur per person which includes a three-course meal and a drink. every single item from the... It's one of the best places to eat in the Trastevere region, nice staff who knows english, kind, not expensive, kind. The food is amazing and pizzas are delicious. Highly recommended!!! Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the time spend there.

We had the fish for two. It consisted of half a plate of rubbery calamari. Awful. The waitress was defensive, telling us that if we had eaten the calamari sooner it would have been tender. The bread was gummy and the house wine was vinegar. The owner was defensive as well and tried to convince us that we were crazy.... More

My brother and I ate here on our first night in Rome. We stumbled across it trying to find something to eat Christmas evening and this place was open. It was decently priced and the food was amazing. We came back on our third night and they gave us a complimentary shot of lemoncello which was delicious. 10/10 recommend

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
