I booked this place for my girlfriend's birthday. The place is cosy, not so many tables so it does not feel crowded. We took the 100 euros 6 dishes experience, I find it a bit pricey for a 1 star restaurant compared to the equivalent in Belgium where I am living but this seems to be standard price in Roma... More

What a treat! We had the 6 course tasting menu which was more like 10 courses and every mouthful was delicious . The food is very inventive. A successful fusion of Colombian and Italian . Service was immaculate and the setting very modern and comfortable. An excellent evening. Very good value considering the outstanding product. Thank you

The Metamorfosi is a great place to go in Rome. The place is very modern and stylish, and located a littlebit outside the city center. They offer 2 menues with 6 or 10 courses, as well as a la carte dishes. We chose the 10 couse menu, which was fantastic (though from a quantity perspective at the upper limit, even... More

Had a great time for dinner. The place is a little understated but this is quickly overlooked a few minutes after you sit down and the service starts. Very personalized and attentive, we were looked after very well the entire evening. Can't go wrong with ordering the 6-course sampler menu. Most of the meals were pure delights, with the white-chocolate... More

Metamorfosi is a restaurant worth visiting. We ordered The tasting menu and every dish is a suprise. The food is full of flavours and you enjoy every bite. The waiter recommended a wine that was perfect. The dessert was so so, but I'm not so fond of bananas which was one of the ingredients. The service is excellent and they... More

Our waiter was helpful and somewhat entertaining when presenting our courses. The setting is great for a special occasion or romantic meal out. Some of the best food we have eaten. This place was the highlight of our trip to Rome.

Sophisticated food in a spacious and quiet setting. Outstanding service - including such details as a "handbag stool" and one of the more elaborate wine bottle opening/tasting routines I have seen! But all done seriously and contributing to the impression of a restaurant that is striving for success not resting on a reputation.

We were really looking forward to the tasting menu at Metamorfosi, but while I did email in advance to see if a vegetarian version was available, I didn't receive a response, unfortunately. However, the staff had clearly seen the comment and were *incredibly* keen to help find a way for my husband and I to enjoy the menu together once... More

This is the best restaurant in Rome in my opinion (as of fall 2016). My husband and I ate at three Michelin star restaurants on a recent trip and this was by far the most refined in food, service, wine list and decor. It was also thankfully devoid of a tourist-only crowd. The vibe in the restaurant reminded us a... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
