We ordered our lunch, nothing complicated. After about 20 minutes, we noticed that other patrons who came in the same time we did were eating their lunch. We asked the waiter. "It's coming". About 45 minutes later, we asked another lady who appeared to be the manager. She went to the kitchen and never returned. Finally, I paid 4 Euros... More

Walking in front of this restaurant one nite and a waiter said he had a table for us. Decided to eat there because it was 100 meters from our Hotel. Andrea the waiter was new and a good guy. Had pizza the first nite and really enjoyed it. The service was good and the prices reasonable. We ate there 3... More

This restaurant was next door to our hotel, there always seemed plenty of diners there so we tried it. Nice ambiance, food was good, particularly liked the cheese plate appetizer, service very good, price fair, all and all a nice experience!

We visited this restaurant for lunch and both had pizza, which was very good and a good value for the money. Very casual, with outside seating. Service was very good, and food came out quickly. Would recommend for families looking for a quick, inexpensive meal.

We called here on our first night in Rome for an evening meal. The waiters were very friendly to us and our three children. We had Pizza and it was ok but nothing special. The best thing about this place was the staff.

This is a nice, casual, friendly little restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. It was more than just a pizzeria. The staff were pleasant and the menu offered pizza to pasta to dessert. I would definitely go back.

Popped in here on way back to hotel as we fancied something sweet after our dinner. The staff was very helpful and friendly when it came to us picking our desserts. All three desserts we ordered were very nice and was enjoyed by all.

We order eggplant parmesiana and lasagna bolognese. Both had warm and cold spots, meaning they were reheated in a microwave, Pasta in lasagne was very tough and it almost had no meat, so it'S not even close to bolognese. EGgplant parmesiana did not have any cheese inside. We had this dish yesterday in a different restaurant for the same price,... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
