We had a fabulous meal here. They have a great wine list and the food was fresh and well prepared. The rabbit with hazelnuts was divine. You feel like you are dining in a local neighborhood restaurant, rather than the more touristy locations. Highly recommend

Based on reviews, we tried l’asino- we were lucky- the menu at first seemed unapproachable as many of the descriptions were not helpful; however the waiter is able to explain the offerings all of which were delicious! Although it is a fairly limited menu there...More

The food here is really of a very high standard. I had the anchovies and onion, boar stew and bread and Nutella pudding. None of the courses disappointed and the service and wine were excellent. I was also surprisingly pleased when the bill came in...More

Refreshing change from the menus we experienced elsewhere. Food was delicious and the service friendly. They were accommodating in us showing up late. We also loved the art on the wall which was painted by the chef. Too bad the art wasn’t for sale too!...More

This place is quaint and the food is delicious, not too badly priced either however.... once we’d had starter and mains it took 30 minutes for us to catch a waiters attention for the desserts menu, at which point we’d been presented with the main...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at

No, there is no dress code, although reservations are probably a good idea, as it is a small place.

If this is a concern, avoid Italy. They do not cater to this and will mock you.
