Located on the first floor (American) of the Cloister of Bramante (attached to the church of Santa Maria della Pace) is a lovely cafe with specially-designed tables that allow guests to sit in the seats surrounding the courtyard. Pictured is the view from one of those seats. I've been here many times over the course of many years. Their menu,... More

After a long walk thru all those historical buildings and monuments this place was what we needed to get some rest ,drink our coffee and have lunch. A quiet place to relax for while before you start again. Not so many dishes but you will find something for you.

This was a real find; tucked away in the charming tangle of alleys and streets west of the Piazza Navona, this felt like a real oasis from the hordes of fellow-tourists. You sit in the upper cloister, covered but in the open air, with mainly locals and Roman students around you. The iced-coffee was delicious, as was the cheesecake, and... More

This historical cloister dating over 500 years was a nice setting for a glass of sparkling cold Prosecco.. Once you go upstairs, you can sit inside, but we enjoyed the peaceful outdoor atmosphere, overlooking the cloister and nearby hills. The outside seats. on cement, have probably not changed since their construction. The Prosecco was accompanied by a plate of olives. One... More

Had a pleasant cup of coffee here in the late afternoon in mid autumn (the best season to visit Rome). The coffee was fine and the cheesecake was grand but the most interesting aspect was the seating. Normal seating is available in the café and on the terrace but the little stone seats in the balustrade of the terrace are... More

What a pleasant place this was. Just down a tiny twisty viccolo from my hotel, in the ancient Centro Historico of Rome. A cloister by the great Bramante, and a delightful café as well. Wholeheartedly recommend.

Nice quiet coffee and cake out of the mid afternoon sun. Tucked upstairs in the chiostro del Bramante just two streets back from piazza novaro. Free wi-go but you have to ask for the code :)

Away from the hustle of tourist Rome is the Cloister of Bramante, a haven with excellent coffee where you can while away an hour reading your paper with a Raphael frieze at your shoulder - just take a quick look in if you're passing.

I discovered the bistro Chiostro Del Bramante after having clocked at least 40 trips to Rome! We made our way up the steps and Voila! A charming outdoor space in the middle of a cloister. The food was exactly what we were looking for after walking what seemed miles in the heat of summer making sure we had seen all... More

What to say ?? in this hidden treasure you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine or a coffee and at the same time admire a masterpiece of Roman Renaissance; really wonderful and a unique experience. I tried just two glasses of white wine for a very quick drink (12€); one of the most charming places in Rome.
