This was recommended in a well-known magazine, but found it nothing to rave about. Wonderful service, but just not a memorable experience other than it was reasonably priced.

Ended there while looking for a restaurant slightly off the main tourist tracks few blocks away. The restaurant is very quaint and the fact that we heard more Italian than any other language was a good sign. The service was unbelievable friendly and helpful we...More

A great, relaxed, reasonably priced restaurant. Excellent service and a menu that can cater to all. Pork ribs and chicken second course were a highlight. One of our most enjoyable evenings in Rome.

This restaurant was recommended by the front desk staff at our hotel and it did not disappoint. My daughter and I enjoyed a nice combination of wine, bread, Italian meats and cheeses, recommended by our very informative and friendly waiter, Mattea. Very highly recommended. It...More

Excellent food! San Daniele (Friaul) features a traditionally rich cuisine. This place in the heart of Rome is a small, cozy place with friendly, attentative staff. Great wine and super pasta! Go for the chef's recommendation and "Baba" for desert.

This place is charming. Try the polenta!!! It is amazing. Also, try eating your cheese with and without honey to compare the tastes! The prosciutto is soooo good!!! It is raw and hand cut. There is strong pride in the way this is prepared!

Good quality food with friendly service at a great price for a restaurant of this quality. The potato pie and potato flan were real treats. Drink prices were really reasonable too with a good selection to choose from.

Located in beautiful Piazza Mattei, this gem of a restaurant serves Italian food prepared in ways I have never tasted. I ordered the potato flan: a blend of slightly mashed creamy potatoes, truffles, mushrooms and topped with cheese. It was rich and flavorful. The meilliflue...More

Ate here as the first stop on our food tour of the Jewish Ghetto. Great flavorful food, ragu on polenta was marvelous, tasty cheeses, the most tasty cured meats. Wanted to go back and have a proper meal but we ran out of time..

The mini-neigbourhood Ghetto holds tight to its
reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly
300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish
community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the
tiny area still retains its mix of tradition,
community, and history. Ancient and medieval
architectural design frames apartments, bakeries,
shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the
