Good quality food with friendly service at a great price for a restaurant of this quality. The potato pie and potato flan were real treats. Drink prices were really reasonable too with a good selection to choose from.

Located in beautiful Piazza Mattei, this gem of a restaurant serves Italian food prepared in ways I have never tasted. I ordered the potato flan: a blend of slightly mashed creamy potatoes, truffles, mushrooms and topped with cheese. It was rich and flavorful. The meilliflue...More

This hidden gem was recommended by a tour guide in Coloseum. The restaurant is not on a main street but it is not hard to find. When we first came everything felt very comfortable. The staff is incredibly nice and very friendly. The food is...More

Ate here as the first stop on our food tour of the Jewish Ghetto. Great flavorful food, ragu on polenta was marvelous, tasty cheeses, the most tasty cured meats. Wanted to go back and have a proper meal but we ran out of time..

We were staying a few steps away from this charming and friendly restaurant. (Not to be confused with another Pane Vino nearby). Excellent and friendly service. Well curated wine list with some very affordable options. Highly recommended.

I was going to give four stars but then looked at our lunch receipt again and switched to five. €57.50 for four very nice starters, four mains including gorgeous lasagna, splendid Fantinel friuli wine, and water. Friendly and attentive service in cozy and welcoming atmosphere....More

I've only been here twice. The decoration is loving and embracing, the location in piazza Mattei is fantastic but the food is simply just normal and not a place that you remember for outstanding or tasty dishes...just plain average. The staff however is delightful, so...More

Super friendly staff that made excellent food recommendations. Great dining experience. Recommend the ham and cheese assortment for a starter. The eggplant was superb and our 11 year old couldn't get enough of the potato dish with wild boar.

The mini-neigbourhood Ghetto holds tight to its
