We enjoyed dinner here twice while in Rome, partly because it was located near our hotel, and also because the food was good and the service was friendly. While not a "fine dining" place, this small restaurant offers a good selection and the food is well prepared and presented attractively.

This place was an after thought during a long walk. The place was completely empty and not another soul walked through the doors while we were there. The drinks were good but the place was on the messy and dirty side. There didn't seem to much effort in the food and the service was crusty. No return trip is forecast.

Watching the World Cup games at Devil Planet was great. The local population would watch the games through the window from the sidewalk! The pizzas were good as well.

Best pizza in Rome! Thin and crispy, perfect amount of ingredients to feel each taste and all combined. Much better than in any 'fancy' restaurant for travellers. Great antipasti based on melted cheese. Devil's planet provide free wifi, the staff is friendly and helpful. Decent prices, excellent value for money. One thing I would improve - toilet should be cleaner... More

The food was a set meal, although not everybody's cup of tea, it was okay. They provide free wifi. The food is nice if it's to your desire, they provide it to the suits and needs for a large group.

We ate here several times afer we had blown our holiday budget on more expensive restaurants. It was honest, good food at honest prices. Pizzas were cooked to ones liking, the staff were friendly, and wine and coffe at a sensible price. Just next door to the Principe Eugenio hotel, and opposite the oldest ice cream cafe. The only downside... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
